One way to beat the heat? Beats me. I’ve tried my VERY best to cool myself down with a tank top and shorts but for some reason it just doesn’t work!! I wore boots to school which didn’t hurt at all, since I had to sew but trust me. The heat these past few days? Que horror!

If you follow me on Twitter and maybe I must have been flooding your timelines with endless chatter about the Manila Music Festival which is coming up next tuesday. I remember posting the poster on my blog a few weeks back, but guess what? It has been updated and there are more bands coming to perform!!!!!!!! Check it out!

My friend, Jorge posted this on his wall and I couldn’t stop listening to it. Its by one of the performers, so here’s a little dose of what to expect at MMF — Since there’s just 6 days to go. Expect me to write a little something about MMF from today onwards. May they be songs by the performers, info about the festival and all that jazz. For now, enjoy some Shinichi Osawa why don’t you! Oh and shout out to Tippi Sy, thanks for my photos, girl!! xx

Over And Over

I did a shoot for SoFA a few days back and I must say, it was a very interesting shoot and I can’t wait to tell you more about it as well as show you the photos! A few things I can tell you are that one, my character was someone edgy, a rocker kind of girl yet very HIGH FASHION nonetheless. Here’s one of the looks I modeled and I must say, I wonder how it would be if I went to school looking like this everyday. Now that would definitely be something, haha!

I definitely missed having both Dan and Tippi take my look shots. It’s been awhile since I’ve sat down in the same room and just talk, laugh and catch up with these two. Not only did I miss them, but I’m pretty sure my blog missed them as well, HAHAHA!

I REALLY wish my hair and make up could be like that everyday. I’d be so happy! HAHA Btw, got the song from a track by one of my favorite bands, Hot Chip. I’ve been listening to them for awhile now and I just recently found my old iPod and happened to chance upon the song and I’ve been listening to this over and over again!

As Seen On The Net

In one week, I found out that two video shoots I did were both posted. I’m not the best person infront of a video camera unless I’m surrounded by my friends or what have you. Funny thing is, I’ve always dreamt of being a VJ, so how ironic is that? Well, I can say that I’ve dipped my toes into the whole video type of thing, maybe this won’t be the last time you’ll see me do such a thing — You’ll never know!

SO, let’s talk about the first video that came out. It was something I shot with Yahoo! SHE. I can’t embed the video so a screen shot will have to do. BUT! Click the link and you’ll get to see the video. This is the first of a series, so stay tuned for the next ones!

Next is for Zalora Philippines. This has got to be one of the coolest videos ever!! Do watch it and maybe even share it — Help spread the word! In Reel Time

This is what I wore to my first video interview (which will come out come March btw), hence the name of my post. No, I didn’t spell it wrong. They picked me as a blogger/stylist/model/designer/student. SO I needed to make sure that I looked the part of course!

It was good to come back to SoFA after so long! I got to see my friends Tippi (who took my photos today btw), Alyssa, Flor, Dan, Asia and Nic! Though we didn’t all really get to catch up but seeing them again totally made up for it! Speaking of friends, if you follow my blog, I always make sure to tell you all about when Dan and I wear similar outfits right? Well, Tippi would get freaked out — But look at what happened today — WE MATCHED! Oh Dan will laugh when she sees this!!

Great minds really do think alike! Hi Tipper!!

Here are the VERY few BTS shots I took today. More on this when I get more info on it, but do watch out for it! It was my first time to do such a thing, and I felt like a VJ — Swear! Despite all the nerves. Finally, I got to play [semi] VJ for an hour. For those who don’t know I dreamt of being a VJ, I was just always shy!

Let’s Go Surfing

I know I don’t look much like a surfer, but that was the look — Mixed with a bit of grunge. Think about it this way, Taylor Momsen out for a surf, there you go!

This was for one of the layouts for the shoot I did for my friends styling project. If you’re wondering where I got the title, it’s from the song Let’s Go Surfing by The Drums. This song always makes me want to go surfing, but I don’t know how to — Or where! Maybe one day soon! Till then, enjoy! xx
