You all might be thinking, “Why on Earth is this chick wearing slippers?” Well, it’s cause it’s summer and this look is pretty much something many can wear out to the mall or dinner OR to the beach. It’s all a matter of swapping your footwear. Don’t you just find it so amusing how you can do such a thing?
Not blog related but look at me being so skwalogs and changing to my flip flops on the road? HAHA! Just so you know, this is how I look like when I swap shoes when wearing two of them in one blog post. Hilarious I know. My mum took this, stolen shot, and it turned out pretty darn cool if you ask me.
ALSO! I had to keep cool today (I blame the heat.. Again) and thank god for them Goody Stay Put Elastics. I swear. Not only did they keep me cool but they helped achieve the wavy hair I love for this look post as well as keep my hair away from my semi-burnt back. Forgive my tan lines.
OH! I finally know how to work this 1100D, thanks for those who emailed me tips and tricks, haha! They are such help, trust me.
Btw, this is the song/movie which inspired my post title. I can’t get this song out of my head. It’s been days since someone introduced this song to me and I love it! Another one of the looks I modeled for the WAGW shoot. I adore this dress, if only I could wear my hair like this and wear this kind of dresses everyday!!! I cannot get enough of the shots from this shoot. Gosh. One of my favorite ones yet, thanks Kryz for getting me to model and thanks Jacklyn for the photos! I’m sure you both know how much I love them. I was in Cebu when these were taken so my hair is still so red here, haha! Anyways, off topic now. I named my blog post after my new favorite toe-tapping song of the moment. The song Part Of Me by Katy Perry. I swear, give it a listen — It’s such a great song! If it sounds familiar it’s what she performed during the Grammys. A little trivia! Though this song was recorded before her divorce from Russell Brand, she did change the lyrics for the Grammys show to specifically address her own recent split. Cool huh? Well. Enjoy! xx

Okay, so I browsing through some old blog posts and as much as I’d love to make a year end post filled with photos and all that as of now, I just want you all to know how thankful I am that all of YOU are reading this very blog post, or my blog in general! So, with that in mind, here in my first “vlog” haha! Anyways, THANK YOU for hyping looks, commenting and just being the best you all can be. Without you all, my dear, dear readers, I wouldn’t be where I am now. Your constant support and love even have been nothing short of amazing. As I said, hypes, comments and even tweets just make my day so much more better when I read what you all have to say. 2011 has been a roller coaster ride for me. I’ve had my fair share of highs and lows but those just help me want to be better at what I do best. 2011 was good, very good actually! Thing is, 2012 can only get better. Not only for me but for everyone! So with that said, have a HAPPY and AMAZING New Year. I shared this during my last blog post, but here it is again, It only happens once a year: New Year’s Eve. It’s a time when hopeless can be romantic, and a resolution can become a revelation. And when one night can change everything. So. To those who read this and feel something, well, why not go for it?
