I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it enough in my blogs and tweets that I’m a Taylor Swift fan (believe it or not, haha)!! As for how she manages her personal life, only one thing I can say, she may have the weirdest ways of coping with failures (whatever kind) but she gets over them and turns them around to something positive. She’s a fighter and she knows how to use her resources to get back on track. With that said, you can only imagine how happy I was when I got a pair of Limited Edition Keds by Taylor Swift trainers! These are definitely one of my favorite pairs of shoes right now — thing is, I don’t want to overuse them!
You might not know this but May is sort of the flower month. So, since today marks the first day of the month of May this 2013, I felt that it was only fitting to post an outfit which had me wearing something with floral prints. Also, if you might have not noticed, floral prints are a big thing this spring 2013!
As the saying goes by the Dalai Lama goes, Once a year, go someplace you’ve never been before. I was fortunate enough to do such a thing this year. I always love the feeling of traveling to new places. You learn so much things and it’s the most amazing feeling ever.
Never did I expect that these oxfords would be one of the comfiest pairs of shoes I’d own. I used it going to Singapore and flying back to Manila. I like how it’s so light weight and how soft the soles are, the moment I slipped them on while out shopping I knew instantly that I had to have these shoes. Luckily, they had my size and in the colour/style I wanted.. That’s definitely FATE! They were meant to be mine! Haha!
Just like in Manila, since it was so sunny out, I made sure to bring along my I Heart You Shop sunnies with me. I love the shape and size of these frames and they fit my face perfectly!
These photos were taken outside the Raffles Hotel, such a beautiful place. It had this whole New Orleans sort of feel both outside and inside the hotel. Beautiful place.
When I travel, I can never be sure of the weather (just like how bipolar the weather in Manila can get). So to be sure, I always take a ton of my Goody elastics with me. From my sisters, to my mum and myself — these always come in handy!
Btw, on the last day of my stay at Singapore I knew my family and I would do much walking so I thought it would be cool to wear a long sleeved top (since I figured it was going to be cold on the plane) and paired it with my favorite American Apparel shorts and new pair of Cole Haan Gramercy Oxfords!!
Okay, as you all know, I am such a huge One Direction fan (believe it or not) and since I haven’t really included them in my blog for quite some time now, I think it’s only fitting that I do so now. Well, this song has definitely got to be one of my favorite tracks by them, cause not only is the song such fun to listen to but the video is just hilarious!! My sisters and I love to blast this in my car and sing out loud when we’re all together! Hahahaha!! Well, I hope you enjoy not only the song but ogling at the boys too! Cheers!! x
Well, this is the third and last Coachella outfit for this year. What a better way to bid the festival farewell than by wearing a very ME type of outfit meaning by wearing something cool, casual and black! I added pops of colours to the look to keep everything festive and summer-ish since black isn’t a very summer-esque colour! SInce I can’t seem to part with this color, and it’s this time of the year, you can still go for good old black but I suggest sheer fabrics and accessorizing it with bright or cool colors to soften the look.
Keeping things casual, cool and breezy by pairing my chiffon black top with some denim shorts and high-cut Chucks. I’d like to think that this outfit is something I’d catch Miley wearing, right?
I originally bought this cap when I went to Sinulog but I never got around to using it cause I was scared I’d either lose my hat or dirty it when I went out, haha! It’s such a cute and fun looking cap that it instantly gives off that very summery vibe!
Aside from my bright floral cap, I also used my cute Bershka oversized clutch to give my outfit that extra hint of colour. I love whats written on it, cause like what I said in my Instagram post, it’s exactly what I’m doing!!
I find these geometric SM Accessories pieces too irresistible! I have earrings and a ton of necklaces from them that come in this shape! I believe that these pieces are such classic ones that will never go out of style. They can also dress up the simplest outfits.
For my makeup today, I went for the barely-there type of look to match my laid back outfit. I just filled in my brows, slapped on some mascara and finished off my look with the Viva Glam Nicki Minaj lipstick (which totally goes with my cap and my bag)!!
I know Daft Punk didn’t perform during Coachella but this song has been on repeat non-stop since I first heard it. It’s got this really sick beat and the sound is just amazing! I’ve been a Daft Punk fan since they released One More Time and they never fail to amaze me. My dream is to catch them live, hopefully it happens one day! Well, enjoy their latest single, haha! Cheers!! x

While I was getting dressed for a night afternoon out with friends, I don’t know what came over me but all I wanted to do was make sure to wear red and black. Maybe it’s cause I’m pretty darn excited cause the Voice season 4 is finally back on (it came back on last April 1 actually) and if you watch or know about the show, it’s logo is black, white and red! I wonder who is going to win this season?
Last March 1, I made sure to wake up a tad bit earlier than expected so that I could drop by the American Eagle store at Bonifacio High
Street for the private preview. I remember when I was about thirteen or so I was such a massive fan of the brand, making sure to hoard pieces in the States each time I got the chance. Luckily, it finally opened in Manila and I couldn’t be any happier!! They sell pieces that truly
fit my style as well as my lifestyle. They couldn’t be any more accurate for calling themselves America’s Favorite Denim Brand cause their jeans fit perfectly and look gorgeous when worn!
I swear, while I was walking around their shop, I felt like I was inside someones Tumblr blog. The shop totally gave off that vibe!
Hoodies! These were some of my favorite pieces along with their denims, dresses and accessories! The shop was a mix of neutral tones, hues of blue and splashes or neon here and there. It’s such a fun shop to be in, believe me!
I think this was probably my favorite side of the entire shop. From the items on this side to the colour! It’s just so eye-catching!
I think when David, Vern (not in the photo cause she wasn’t there yet) and I got dressed one thing surely stuck in our head.. DENIM! We all wore a little something with denim being one of the mail pieces of our outfit that morning. David and I chose chambrays (as well as matching frames and black bottoms) while Vern went for skinnies and cute heels! Great minds think I alike! Haha!
There are two floors in American Eagle, the first is for the ladies and the second is for the lads. I should say, the mens line is just as good as the womens! I would seriously love to buy some of their sweaters as well as backpacks.
Ladies, now you know.. There’s a new shop for you girls to buy some gifts not only for your beau but for your dad, brothers, cousins and sons as well!
Oh! Another plus? They sell cute knickers there! From panties, to bras, sleepwear and the like. Believe me, they’re so comfortable!!
As I was leaving the shop, I caught a glimpse of the stage set up for the event that was to happen that evening. It looked massive and I heard that they had to close down the road for three days prior to the event just so they could set up! You’ll see how the amazing stage looks like after when I post the event photos. It was definitely all worth the hard work!
I’ll be sure to drop by American Eagle again and I hope you all make time to swing by as well. I hope to see some of you there! Cheers! x
Whenever I shoot look photos, not only do I love it when it’s done outdoors but I also love it when the sun is out and I’m surrounded by nature. So, while I was taking my look photos, I was ecstatic cause the sun was up (despite the odd weather we’ve been having here in Manila) — finally!
I’ve been feeling a tad bit under the weather lately and I think it’s because of the bipolar climate Manila is experiencing. Apparently it’s a current fad right now to be sick. Well, hopefully this ends soon cause the feeling is unbearable. Luckily, I got to take some time out to rest and take it easy. I wore this to lunch out at Polo Club, I made sure to wear something with sleeves to keep me warm since it was a bit windy out.
Meet my new shoes whic I got from Pedro just recently. They’re so comfy and they add an ample amount of androgyny to my look. I’ve always wanted a pair of shoes like these and luckily, Pedro had them! It also comes in a sort of deep charcoal gray shade which I obviously almost got but then I was able to veer away from black for ones and I got these!
To keep up with the Caramel colour accent in my look, I decided to take out this bag and a leather belt to complete the look. I really have this thing about bigger bags nowadays, don’t get me wrong though, I love my small bags as well — I think it’s cause I’ve been bringing a lot of stuff out with me these past few days, haha!
I am in love with the details on this belt and the fact that it reeks of leather! I love that smell.
Since I was sick, I didn’t want anything bothering me as I moved, which is why I wanted to keep my hair nice and tidy. I decided to take
those handy-dandy hair elastics (which I always use as bracelets) to keep my hair up. What would I do without my Goody Hair elastics?!
When I know I’ll be going through a day filled with errands, I stick to what I know best — dressing comfortably. I wore this look out to a day when I did some pulls, ran around the Metro, dropped off some goodies and swung by some other places. Busy? Yeah. But it’s all worth it, it’s the productive kind of stress really, and I’m definitely not complaining! Besides, I know that I’m going places — and I love every single bit of it!
I saw that it was a tad bit gloomy out so I opted to wear some bright colours to.. Well.. Brighten up the day! With that said, I pulled out this neon tank top from my closet.
What’s an outfit without an arm party right? Well, I decided to layer these beaded bracelets to give my look some extra colours.
Can you see how gloomy the sky looks? How sad. I swear, the weather here in Manila is so odd!
I love this canvas bag from Greater Good! I took it with me to the beach when I went there last December. It can hold a ton of things and I think the message on the bag is beyond amazing. It brightens up my day whenever I see it. It gives me that extra PUSH to go on with my day.
Oh! I bet this jacket looks super familiar — I wore it for a blog post. Of course I’d wear it out but you know us bloggers, when wearing the same pieces you need to give them a few months before you can blog about them again. I got it from Ministry of Retail and I swear, it’s just so chic! I don’t wear much white but then this totally makes wearing white fun!
Did you know that it was actually a Christmas gift to me? Thanks to my Penshoppe family for the top! It definitely helped brighten up that pretty gloomy day out.
When I knew I was going to be busy, I ditched my heels and slipped on these Crocs. Who knew they had slip-ons right? I think that since Crocs revamped their look, it’s definitely getting more fashionable. From the flats, the boots and all that jazz. Also, they’re so comfy and I’m glad I wore them out cause my feet were safe from the pain heels would’ve brought me with the amount of walking I did! HAHA!
