Florals and Gold x SM Mens Fashion Show

I am going to make this a habit: Blogging about events a few days after. I always end up forgetting to blog about events or fashion shows that I watch because I end up saving them for later posts, but starting today that’s all about to change! With that said, here’s my blog post about the VERY recent SM Mens Fashion Show that I made sure not to miss out on!

I’m a SM GTW It Girl!

Basing it on how long my hair is on these photos, you will know that these photos were taken awhile back. (OH HOW I MISS IT BTW) I am happy to let you know that these photos made it to the Girls Teens Wear sections of all SM branches. I felt so privileged to be part of this set of bloggers that is why when I was asked, I said “yes” right away. As we all know how big SM is and that they are known to be the fashion destination for all walks of life. It was a feather in my cap.

Black & Glitters

I do apologize for such a late night post but I couldn’t go a day without blogging something. I have this “need” to update my blog for my dear readers. This look is quite back logged (or in simple words delayed) for I wore this outfit the day I checked not one but TWO things off my bucket list. What might they be? Well, the first was to get to meet and have a photo with Joe Jonas and second, to walk for a fashion show (I walked for SM GTW remember?) during the Philippine Fashion Week.

Oh what a fun-filled and memorable day that was! My call time for the show was supposed to be way earlier and I literally begged that I be given a chance to come later. Meeting Joe Jonas was a chance I just couldn’t forgo. I felt like I was a freshman in high school all over again.

The thing that made me want to buy this dress were the cutouts. The dress has a very chic and conservative looking silhouette but there’s a little twist or some kind of naughtiness to it. I like that in clothes. I like clothes with some surprise or twist. Don’t you think so? It was perfect also cause the cutouts kept me cool all day. This is definitely a day to night dress that you can’t go wrong with!

What a day it was! It was totally for the books. I will never forget this day for the rest of my life. My children will definitely hear a story about this day… Someday :)

Walked The Runway For SM’s GTW

When I started modeling professionally I did a couple of ramp shows for Rhett Eala. From a Collezione show at Rockwell, to a big production for MetroWear, to another big production for Rhett Eala at the Pen as well. I can’t say that I’m a runway veteran on the runway but I can say I’ve done a few. Thing is, never have I ever walked for Philippine Fashion Week — But it was always a dream of mine.

It was definitely something I just HAD to check off my bucket list!! Hopefully this wont be the last time I walk the runway. I loved (and maybe even missed) the feeling actually. Hmmm.. Maybe next season? Haha!

THANK GOD for the L’Oréal make up team as well as the magic of Lourd Ramos and his amazing team as well. Without them I wouldn’t have gotten that great make up done as well as my Serena Van Der Woodsen-esque hair! What a day that was. This was after I met Joe Jonas beeteedubs! HAHA I’m honestly not over it all just yet! Well, to close this post — Check out the photos I (fourth), Laur (third), Cams (first two) and Rev (last) posted on Instagram. HAHA

Rajo x Bench Fashion Show

Right after the Michael Cinco show pretty much the entire room shifted to the next room for the second half of the Bench Fashion Show and for the last show for Philippine Fashion Week. What a way to close Fashion Week I must say!

From DJs, to local celebrities (like fellow Style Star, Sarah Lahbati!!), dancers, to musicians, to models. The show felt like a huge concert mixed with a cheer dance competition, dance showdown, music festival and party all packed in one!! Never a dull moment. SWEAR.

If any of you went to Malasimbo the last time then you’ll know who these are. If you didn’t go then everyone, meet Brigada! They’re an amazing percussion band who definitely got the party started! While they did their thing, Rajo came out and started the REAL party!

Rajo asked everyone to get up up off their seats and dance! He pulled some of his friends up on stage as well. The show ended with the DJs spinning and the entire crowd on the runway/stage trying to grab an opportunity to have a photo taken with their favorite celebrities. From the main Bench man, Ben Chan to the star of the night, Rajo Laurel to Georgina Wilson, Mond Guitierrez, Tim Yap, (Tita) Tessa Prieto – Valdes and and Divine Lee to the ANTM girls Allison and Dominique!

Well, that ended Fashion Week for Holiday 2012. With a bang nonetheless! Till next seasons Fashion Week! Cheers!
