The weather in Manila has been so strange lately so I thought it would be nice to brighten things up with a super colourful outfit for my next entry. Acting like an occasional non-conformist, I opted to wear an all summery outfit on a cloudy day. Thought it could help make things turn sunny and all.
I know I’m super made up, I wore this out after a shoot. Just so you all know, the feature comes out this June so I hope you can all grab a copy once it’s out! Anyway, on to my look — I wanted to mix a classy skirt with a casual cropped top to give it a bit more character. When I was planning what to wear, I thought why not put two very different pieces that nobody would ever imagine to be together and make them work. Allow me to confess that this is my very first pencil skirt and I think I am beginning to like them.
As you all know, I am such a music enthusiast and proud of it. Attending music fests are things I totally enjoy. So can you imagine how excited I was when I heard that GAP is supporting a music festival? It’s like a perfect marriage of two things I love so dearly.. Fashion and music, don’t you think so?

Anyways, if you all must know, this look is a little something that might help you when you get dressed for a music festival — Wanderland more specifically!! I know I did three posts which were Coachella (since it’s a three-day festival) inspired, so allow me to show you what I’d wear to one of our own local music festivals.
I’ve been getting tweets, emails and such from you guys asking me to dess a tad bit more edgy. Looking back at all my recent blog posts, I understood why some of you have asked me to do such a thing. I’ve been so busy experimenting with different styles that I sorta forgot about my own. Well, don’t fret — cause for this blog post, allow me to go back to my roots and dress all edgy!
As most of you might know, music plays a massive part when I get dressed. Not only songs inspire me, but artists as well. For this outfit, I was (again) inspired by Little Mix. The whole mixing prints (which I’m finally getting the hang of), studs and bright lips are elements that Perrie Edwards usually goes for.
