For those who don’t know, COTTON ON is coming over to the Philippines!! The first shop to open will be at Mall of Asia on September 7, and OH GOSH I CANNOT BOTTLE IN MY EXCITEMENT! Allow me to talk a little bit about Cotton On for a bit, for those of you who aren’t familiar with the brand, Cotton On is one of the brands I frequently shop in whenever I travel. They have very fashionable clothes that surely won’t burn holes in your wallets (or your parents wallets, haha)! Now I won’t have to leave Manila to get my Cotton On fix cause it’s finally here all thanks to the Suyen Corp/ Bench group!

Now, aren’t you all just excited as I am? Now, for even more exciting news: To celebrate the opening of Cotton Ons first store here in Manila they’ll be hosting an event and press launch as well as a fashion show on September 6, showcasing the pieces YOU can spot over at Cotton On! With that said, YOU CAN ACTUALLY BE ONE OF THE MODELS DURING THE EVENTS FASHION SHOW!! Sounds like fun right?! So, if you want to be a part of this here’s how you can join..

Cotton On Philippines is looking for new models 18 to 24 years old, on top of that you’ve got to be fun, young, hip, happy and bright — Basically someone who embodies the Cotton On spirit and vibe! Are you shy? Well, if you think your friend has got what they’re looking for then you can also nominate your friend/s if you want to! Just remember: Deadline for entries is on Aug. 29, 2012 (sorry if this post is quite late). Black Keys

An LBD. Yes that for me is a staple piece that every girl should have. You can never go wrong with owning one. It may be a tube dress, one that has short sleeves or just like this one I’m sporting, with long sleeves, it can be worn from day to night. It’s just a matter of playing around with accessories, shoes and bags. I saw this pretty one when I went around MOA. Again, I was able to get this item for such a good price.

| Dress: Tomato | Flats: Vivienne Westwood x Melissa | Necklace: Celine |

Accessorizing is the best trick every girl should learn. You can totally change the look of a whole outfit simply by changing them. I for one over-accessorizes because I just love them. It gives a simply outfit character and personality, and I like that.

Notice the opaque and transparent effects of the dress? It’s such a dramatic piece. The sleeves and shoulders are see thru because it was made out of soft sheer chiffon while the whole bodice is opaque. The whole opaque part of the dress is made of stretchable fabric that literally hugs your body like a glove. Do you see the contrast again? I just love it!

Little Secrets

Talk of not doing the usual, well this outfit is an example. For one thing, here I am wearing such a colorful knee length, one piece striped dress. OH! Plus, I am wearing these bejeweled sandals. But then this post will prove that there are times we have to get out of our comfort zone and try out new stuff. Experimenting is quite a daring thing but I enjoy this. I love the fact that I can surprise people with what I do to my hair, what I wear and the songs I blog about.

Remember what I shared with you in my previous post? This experimental look I was able to put together during my MOA experience. Believe me when I say that it is a MUST to head to MOA and check out the End of Season Sale. I promise you that you will not regret! I even had to stop myself from getting my hands on too many things. There were just too many things to get — Such sweet deals!

| Dress and Sandals: Celine | Clutch: Tomato |

I think this outfit can be worn during a nice lunch date with friends (or that special someone if you have one) up to dinner time, all you’ve got to do it switch up those sandals, put on some heels and you are set for a chill night out with your friends. Btw, don’t you just love my nails? Got them from Polished Manila, I must say, I was lucky enough to get a bottle of China Glaze’s Hunger Games collection called Smoke and Ashes. Just keeping true to my style and sporting some black polish — MY FAVORITE!

When I was getting dressed the song Little Secrets by Passion Pit played and I find it to be such a great song — It helps perk up your mood as well as just keep everything light especially during the rainy season. It’s also a good road trip song! So. Listen up enjoy the weekend! CHEERS!
