Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball

In all honesty, I wish the concert never ended. Lady Gaga is an amazing performer and no matter what people say about her, she’s just spectacular! I was left speechless after the concert because of how amazed I was. She’s a real performer and I am VERY happy that I was given the opportunity to watch her live a second time around, THANK YOU SMART!! From both my sister, Pam and I!!

The concerts opening act was DJ Zedd. Okay, he was just.. WOW! What a great way to get the crowd pumped up for the concert! I felt like I was at freakin Tomorrowland or Coachella! I was dancing and singing along like there was no tomorrow — WOOHOO!

Out of a number of concerts I’ve attended this must have been the only concert I’ve been to that really started on time! KUDOS, LADY GAGA! The moment the curtains dropped to reveal the castle on stage the crowed went WILD! Here are a number of photos I took — Forgive the photo heavy post that is about to go down!

Again.. THANK YOU SMART for the mosh pit/patron tickets. My sister and I wouldn’t have had the experience of a lifetime without them!

Lady Gaga’s advice for getting back at your exes? Well..

I was able to dance, sing, shout and laugh the night away with these two!! I don’t think the Gaga experience wouldn’t have been as fun if it weren’t for them!!

The photo above was taken while the crowd chanted “GAGA!” “WE WANT MORE!” “ENCORE!” and the like. I guess we all shouted enough cause Lady Gaga closed the show with Marry The Night. I just can’t.

As the gates of the Gaga castle came to a close, many wish the concert would just keep going on.. I included. I can say that she did an even better job than her concert years ago but nevertheless — What. A. Performer. I am still on a Gaga High and I don’t know when it’ll end but hey, who wouldn’t after THAT!!

Headed home after with Alyssa and well, we were so happy about the concert so I close this post with a “PAWS UP” photo with her. CHEERS GAGA! AMAZING CONCERT! I’M STILL AT AWE!!

Yoü And I

Since the Lady Gaga Born This Way Ball is tonight, allow me to dedicate this blog post title to her, I can’t wait to watch her live again!! Anyway, allow me to take a break from the usual colourful looks I’ve been posting by wearing a dress with a desaturated hue. Summer may mean colours, brights and the like, but what do you wear when you have plans of a night out with your friends, cousins, boyfriend and all that jazz? Allow me to ahead some light on this topic then.

| Dress and Necklace: Human | Bag: Gucci | Heels: Call It Spring |

I know I’ve been wearing these pumps like there is no tomorrow but one can never go wrong with a pair of black pumps! They are definitely a staple pair of heels every girl should have in her shoe cabinet. TRUST ME.

Well, I’m off to the concert!! CHEERS!! I’ll be sure to blog about it!! xx

Merci Beaucoup

As I sit here in my room ad type this, I am actually catching my breath from the day that was. You know what? I have honestly never felt THIS for quite some time now, but I guess that’s life. Oh, and it too is a clear sign that I’m growing up. Balancing work, school, blogging, my personal life and all that jazz. But what the heck, I CAN DO THIS!

| Sweater Dress and Tote Bag: Topshop | Tights: SM Department Store | Plimsolls: H&M | Necklace: Forever 21 | Sunnies: I borrowed them from, Raf | Clips: Group DIY project for my Apparel Production class |

A ton of my friends said that my look was very French-esque, which explains the blog title. I’ve been to France before but when I was young and not fashion oriented as much, so hopefully I get to go back — and soon! Oh and again with my bag, told you it’s my new favorite bag!

Don’t you just love Rafa‘s round sunnies??? I know I do, Dan and Kryz as well! They actually look like the Jeremy Scott sunnies Lady Gaga wore during the Paparazzi video but he unscrewed the [with the lack of a better term] flippy lenses since they we’re a tad bit too heavy. Oh the photo in the middle is me circa first term. Good times, haha!

OH! Meet my new addiction — Dan‘s too! They’re lemon favored cupcakes which they sell in school. I have a soft spot for cupcakes so I definitely had to try this one and I love it to bits! Haha Sorry, random I know.

Color Blocked

First things first, I really do apologize for the little hiatus I took from blogging this past week. I have been so busy with both work and school that I wasn’t able to find time to update my blog. I hope you can all forgive me. But worry not for I am back and I will be sure to update my blog much more frequently. Anyway, as most of you know, every Friday SoFA hosts this cool thing called Fashion Fridays. It allows us students to challenge ourselves to dress up given a certain trend. Last Friday it was the every so popular, color blocking trend. Hence the blog title. I decided to have my accessories “do the talking” for me this week, by wearing black and having them stand out. Can’t wait to see what Mads has planned for next week!

| Blazer: WAGW | Top: Forever 21 | Shorts: Gap | Shoes: Parisian | Bag: Topshop | Necklace: Best Finds Exclusives | Bracelet: H&M |

Like what I said, I made use of accessories and my shoes to go with the given theme for yesterday. I got this super cute necklace from Best Finds Exclusives which definitely stood out, not only because of it’s colors but it’s interesting design! Luckily the aqua feathers were the same shade as my Parisian pumps, so VOILA! Perfect! From aqua, to tangerine to magenta and even to purple. How much more colors would you want? HAHA!

Now, time to show you who I took outfit shots with this week. Dan, Alyssa and Tippi!! Check out their looks, I love how we all dress differently. It’s something that really makes me happy seeing how all my friends express themselves through fashion. May you be into neutrals or neon colors, so check out their looks and be inspired!! I know I am!! xx

Let’s enjoy some music shall we? I adore this new feel good song by none other than, Lady Gaga!! Her video isn’t as eccentric as usual but it doesn’t matter. She looks great and the song is amazing!! Something for the weekend, play it whilst driving, getting ready for a fun night out with friends or just to cheer yourself up! Till the next post!! Have a great weekend everyone! xo
