Forget Me Knot

First of all.. Do you see what I did there with my blog title? Huh? HAHA! I wanted to name my blog post with something that had to do with knots (I’ll tell you why in a bit), so while I was thinking of blog post titles, my mum and I came up with this one! HAHA! Anyways, I wore this to the Azanáz event at Rockwell cause I along with fellow bloggers mused for the latest collection!

Why should my blog post title be about knots? Well, it’s because last Thursday Aranáz released its newest collection in collaboration with Rags to Riches. Most of the materials used to make the bags and accessories are recycled and or all from the Philippines. PINOY PRIDE!

I’d just like to thank TRICIA GOSINGTIAN for the amazing photos she took of me for my blog. Gosh, I wish I knew how to manipulate my camera the same way she does! We shot indoors for a change, well, also cause it was dark out so we used the bright light from Essences to give this great lighting you see.

| Floral Blazer: Redhead | Dress: Forever 21 | Heels: Dolce Vita | Clutch and Necklace: Aranáz for Rags to Riches | Cross Necklace: Love Eye Candy | Rib Ring: Sheinside | Vintage Casio Watch: Arm Candy PH |

I was actually going to wear this exact outfit to the event sans the blazer but my sister, Pauline and I agreed that I just needed to wear it. I mean, who can resist this blazer, right? Luckily it went extremely well with my necklace and clutch!

Here’s a closer look at the details of my bag as well as the super duper cool ring I got from Sheinside! While browsing the accessory page of the website I saw this ring and thought of it to be one of the coolest rings I have ever seen.

Here I am with fellow Aranáz muses, Tricia, Cams and Kryz. I absolutely love how each one of us styled our bags and accessories differently, inspite of having similar pieces and such to work with. We all still carried each piece differently and made it our own representing our personal style. I LOVE IT!

Here are some shots of the event. I was at Topshop killing time before going downstairs (I’ll tell you more about that soon) and my mum had this super cool idea of taking a top view photo of the party — Kudos! The event was well attended by friends, family and of course the media/press. The decorations were beyond interesting! I loved the dresses which were showcased as well!

Here I am with fellow bloggers and muses, Alyssa and Danika!

Here’s a closer look at my necklace and bag details! I really love how this collection was inspired by a book about knots Amina received from her mum as a gift. Hence the blog title! TADAAAA! It’s amazing how such things can inspire designers or artists to create things!!

Congratulations, Amina!! What a successful event and for such an amazing cause! This is definitely going to be such a hit! For those who wanna get yourself a bag or necklace and such you might want to head on over to the nearest Aranáz branch.. STAT! Don’t worry, if you buy something from the R2R collection it’s for a good cause, believe me! Of course shopping for a cause it always a good idea!

Over And Over

I did a shoot for SoFA a few days back and I must say, it was a very interesting shoot and I can’t wait to tell you more about it as well as show you the photos! A few things I can tell you are that one, my character was someone edgy, a rocker kind of girl yet very HIGH FASHION nonetheless. Here’s one of the looks I modeled and I must say, I wonder how it would be if I went to school looking like this everyday. Now that would definitely be something, haha!

| Blazer: From Madz | Top: Wacoal | Shorts: From Lexi | Tights and Headpiece: From Rafa | Heels: Charles and Keith | Necklaces: Spikes (Extreme Finds) and Chains (Forever 21) |

I definitely missed having both Dan and Tippi take my look shots. It’s been awhile since I’ve sat down in the same room and just talk, laugh and catch up with these two. Not only did I miss them, but I’m pretty sure my blog missed them as well, HAHAHA!

I REALLY wish my hair and make up could be like that everyday. I’d be so happy! HAHA Btw, got the song from a track by one of my favorite bands, Hot Chip. I’ve been listening to them for awhile now and I just recently found my old iPod and happened to chance upon the song and I’ve been listening to this over and over again!

Break’s Over

So, the holidays are over and sadly, I’m not quite over it just yet. I miss late nights, going out with friends, being so carefree about what I do during my day and so much more. I wish the break wasn’t over. And sad, cause it also means the Christmas season is done (booo) and school beckons.

| Tank top: Topshop | Bondage Skirt, Stud Earrings and Necklaces: Forever 21 | Glitter Flats: Zara | Bag: Vesti | Rings: WAGW (Pearl ring) and Extreme Finds (Sparrow ring) | Camera Strap: Extremedeals |

Okay. So, I wasn’t so keen on totally dressing up, so I kept the look simple but I made sure to wear a ton of accessories to pretty much dress up and add some color to the all black ensemble. Also, I changed my camera strap to bright pink so it would also have a bit more color!

Check out this super cool ring I got from WAGW! It opens up! How awesome is that, huh?

Thanks to the every so awesome, Danika for taking my look photos, again! One thing I love about school? I’ll be able to blog more often! Awesome sauce! I love this girl and missed her to bits!!! xx

Hype ‘Em

Rain, rain, go away. It may be cuddle weather but it’s also hassle weather. I swear, the weather in Manila as been so fickle, so hopefully it fixes itself. Fingers crossed!

| Cardigan: Nava | Top: DKNY | Bandage Skirt: Forever 21 | Boots: Doc Martens | Bag: Marc By Marc Jacobs | Necklaces: H&M (Feather) and Love Eyecandy (Leather) | Cuffs: WAGW (Spikes) and The Bead Shop (Inspire) | Pin and Foxtail: Gelo’s booth at the Bloggers United 2 |

Check out Dan‘s look, very chic and it looks very warm and comfy. Gotta love the mix of prints, textures and the layers.

Before I end this post, guess who we saw in school today! Hi Raf! Sucks that we only see you once a week. Oh and Raf and I played around with the same color palette today, cool beans!

Guess what, Dan and I wore stripes — So matching again! Great minds think alike, yeah? Love this girl mucho!

Omg, you know what else? Miley and I have the same bag! AHHHH! This is way too cool!!

Safari Disco Club

Couldn’t think of a cool title to name my post but it must have been fate cause the song Safari Disco Club by Yelle started playing and well, it was perfect! You’ll know why in a bit. Anywhoo, wore this to school cause when I don’t drive it’s easier for me to sport heels cause I don’t have to walk from Fiamma to SoFA.

| Top: Random from Bangkok | Shorts: American Apparel | Heels: Aldo | Bag: Louis Vuitton | Necklaces: Holic Accessories (Black tassles), Mauve (Black House of Harlow inspired and Spikes) and Forever 21 (Chains) | Watch: Jeremy Scott x Swatch | Hair Clips: Goody |

Now do you get the blog title? Haha! My bag and shoes are very much safari-esque. Well, to me at least! It surely gave my pretty plain look a kick with all the prints and colors.

I wanted to try something different with my hair. Honestly, what’s with me and trying new things with my hair? Also, is it me or is my hair turning pink? HAHA! Anyway, thank God for these Goody clips, my hair stayed in place all day.

And guess who joined in the safari party, Dan! She came in this super comfy looking coat, perfect for the very unpredictable weather we’re having here in Manila nowadays I must say! Oh, oh! Thanks for taking my photos babe, you know I love you! xx

Now for the song that inspired the blog title!
Happy listening — It’s a real toe tapper, head bobber and hip swayer, haha!
