My Stay at the Henry

When my friends and I booked for Sinulog, we were all so worried that all hotels were fully booked. Luckily, Kryz lives in Cebu so she was able to help us find a hotel just in time for the festival. I honestly didn’t know what to expect since it was the first time I was going to stay at The Henry. Btw, this hotel was formerly called The House of Cebu up until a new management company- Hospitality International, Inc. stepped in. I am so happy Kryz told Cams, Sean and I about this hotel cause now I know where I’ll be staying the next time I’m at Cebu!!

Doll Me Up

Well, that is exactly what Young Star did today for their article entitled All Dolled Up. I along with fellow bloggers Camille, Kryz, Lissa and David were all turned into paper dolls! Aside from the cool dolls, I like the article as well as the write ups for each one of us. So be sure to click the links above to read other articles on Young Star or to read the article itself. Check out my doll and the dolls of my fellow blogger friends!

I remember being so fascinated with paper dolls back when I was a wee little lass. I had a collection which ranged from Barbie, Ariel, Meg to Sleeping Beauty and all that jazz. I always wanted to be made into a paper doll when I was younger and guess what? IT HAPPENED! So, to be made into a paper doll? Well, you could only imagine my happiness! Also, I adore how the artist Steph Manuel drew each look so spot on! Every single detail and all that!

Orange County

Hopping from one meeting to another is beyond tiring but when you leave the meeting knowing how excited you’ll be for that project and get to meet such wonderful people in the course of going through it — well, let’s just say it’s all worth it. Btw, who amongst you watched the OC? I just for the idea of calling this post that cause of my blazer. I miss that show actually. I loved Seth and Summer. My friends and cousins used to tease me that I was like Summer cause I dressed like her, haha!

| Blazer: Mango | Tee and Belt: H&M | Shorts: Forever 21 | Heels: Poppy & Co. | Bracelet: Topshop | Necklace: Yhansy |

I did a look post at that same spot sometime ago but with different art work. Remember? Kudos to the Fort for having this idea of changing the pieces of art here, it’s time to show people the talent we have here in the Philippines! Anyways, I loved what the artist did with the benches and that he/she (I forgot to read about the artist, whoops) used recycled materials. From hoses to cans and the like. He/she even put cool quotes on the benches which seem to be made of old tubs, here’s one of them, check it out..

Throw On Some Colour

Felt down in the dumps todaym so I decided to post a set of look photos with different hues in them (I even squeezed in two pairs of shoes for this post). Good call cause it somehow helped my current state of being, so thank God for that — And a number of good tracks to keep me company as well, haha!

| Top: Forever 21 | Shorts: Random from Bangkok | Belt: H&M | Bag: Betsey Johnson | Necklaces: Extreme Finds | Studded Cuff: Juicy Couture | Neon Pink Sandals: Dolce Vita | Skimmers: Punchdrunk Panda |

Here’s the same look but with a different pair of shoes. Check it out, the skimmers I designed along with Kit Kat for Punchdrunk Panda! We named our design Manic Mayan cause of the manic colours and prints used, but kept that very aztec like feel to it. A good way to perk up an outfit, don’t you think?

These will be available soon. So about the design, and I quote Kit Kat, Features animal prints, colorful pixels, and tribal patterns, which the two of us love. This shoe is meant for the 21st century fashion warrior. Couldn’t have said it any better myself! BTW, you can grab these babies on March 31 at Anteroom Sessions 2, then at http://www.punchdrunkpanda.com after that, SWEET!

Pumped Up Kicks

Howdy! I’m back from Malasimbo and ready to get back to blogging yet again after the tiny little break I had. Well, here goes! A few months back I was asked to do a little collaboration between PunchDrunk Panda, graphic designer and artist, Kit Kat Pecson and myself. More on that soon. Here are some BTS shots for you all to see, enjoy!

OhMyGoodness. I wish my room looked like this. Dear Heima, Do expect my sisters and I to visit your shop in the (very) near future. We will go loco inside, that’s for sure! HAHA <3, The Prieto Sisters

Meet Kit Kat everyone! She’s such a talented artist — Check out her blog! And don’t you worry, you’ll get to see our piece of art out for sale real soon, promise!! Plus, for those colour loving, print wearing, happy go lucky, laid back yet chic girls out there then these kicks are perfect for you!

Here are some photos from the PDP Facebook page, they have more shots (and there you’ll be able to see the Skimmers we designed). So here are a couple, me being taped for a video and I along with Kit Kat and the rest of the team. I had a blast with everyone, that’s for sure! THANK YOU for that awesome experience!!

I’ll talk about this more when I post my look photo with my new kicks! Till then! xx
