Michael Cinco: Impalpable

This was the first ever Michael Cinco show I have ever watched and I must say — all the talk and hype? Didn’t do it any justice! His pieces are works of art, from the designs, the craftsmanship to just everything. I can’t even. Amazing.

The show began with a video for Michael Cinco’s perfume Impalpable then these cute little children came out THEN the show opened with a GORGEOUS gown!! Followed by a number of his masterpieces.

THEN the girls from ANTM All Stars came out and graced the runway. First up was Dominique Reighard then followed by Michael Cinco’s Impalpable muse, Allison Harvard.

White, mint green, baby blue, beige. Lace, beads, mesh. These are what made up his pieces. Beautiful.

Michael Cinco came out to the entire room clapping and cheering for him! I included! He did an amazing job! I got goosebumps the moment the show started same when it ended! Ahhh!!

Amazing.

All This Time

It was one of those lazy days and so we decided to visit my uncles house all the way in Antipolo. It wasn’t quite done yet but we enjoyed the view and fresh air. I must say — I felt like I was at some resort or the beach, well, minus the heels and accessories of course, HAHA Nevertheless, it was a good few hours outside of the metro. After I dashed to Makati for my good friend, Mike Concepcion’s surprise party — Which was a success I must say! Haha

I opted to add some character and color to this ensemble of mine by throwing those multicolored boots. I gave it this little edge and a little sort of UMPH so to say. I had my ever dependable flats in my bag of course so my feet don’t die whilst walking up and down not only stairs but count stones and gravel on the ground and so on while checking out his newly built home. SO! It never hurts to keep some flats or flip flops when you can.

See No More

When I was told by THE Ben Chan during the Joe Jonas media event that he was going to see me on Sunday (for PFW), I was not only excited but nervous as well. I made sure to dress to impress (HAHA)! I sure do hope it worked! Made sure to wear my favorite skinnies from the OJ Americana collection (The one Lucy Hale modeled/endorsed) and a corset from Bench (not seen in my photos) which I’ve been saving for a special occasion. I believe the Holiday 2012 shows of Bench, Michael Cinco and Rajo Laurel were big and special enough occasions don’t you think so?

I love this whole woven detail on my heels, thats what pulled me into to buying them. It has this very Filipino vibe to it and not only does it look nice but it kept my feet comfy and snug during the shows. Speaking of PFW shows, I’ll be blogging about them come this week!

Curious about my blog post title? Well, the one and only Joe Jonas sang this song. Ever since the moment I had a photo with him and watched him perform I’ve been listening to his songs all over again and well, I remember him singing this during the press con aka his FIRST performance in Manila and I couldn’t help but gush over the fact that my grade school/high school crush was pretty much right in front of me. Dream come true much? HAHA

Uh, Cheerio

I don’t know why I’ve been drawn to navy blue striped cotton pieces BUT heck, this works wonders when you want to make sure you keep cool during the heat as well as keep comfortable amidst a string of meetings and errand running all in just one day. Don’t you just love those days? Haha!

I love the fact that these sunnies of mine are vintage beyond compare. This baby has been through three generations. My abuelito owned them and passed them down to my dad and now, it’s been passed on to me. It gives me this spunky kind of vibe whenever I wear it knowing two great men have worn them!

For some reason I can’t get enough of these wedges. Not only is it the colour that can wake up any outfit but the fact that they’re so comfortable! I can walk in these all day and not kill my feet or my toes, HAHA!

Okay.. Just to clarify,in reference to the title of my blog — No, no, no I am not heart broken, brokenhearted, sad, sobbing or anything like that. This song has been stuck in my head, on repeat, nonstop, over and over again that it’s pretty much the only thing I’ve been listening to these past X number of hours. I SWEAR. It’s so catchy! Hot Day Out

For some strange reason these past few days have been hot — Or when it rains it pours. I just wish the weather would sort of mellow down for the benefit of most of us, HAHA

Thank goodness the dress I wore out was backless, it kept me pretty cool during lunch out with my family. If you see me out wearing this dress out again soon don’t judge me — It’s just perfect for the weather out nowadays. You’ll agree with me if you own a dress like this! HAHA!

Ford Philippines Mums Day Treat

No, I’m not a mum but I know I have an awesome one! Luckily Ford Philippines contacted me to this cute little surprise treat. I and my mum along with two other mother daughter pairs were treated to a special and relaxing day out care of well, Ford Philippines!

Our day started of with a special car pick up using the new Ford Fiesta! Okay, the moment I got in the car I gave my mum that I-WANT-THIS-CAR look. Not only was it so roomy but Isa the PR Rep for Ford showed us the Bluetooth features — I was sold! The ride was so smooth, it was clean and definitely not bumpy. I love the fact that I got the orange coloured one, to think it comes in other colours! If only it was THAT easy to buy a car, haha!

We were first brought to 2ND’S for a delicious five course lunch which left us all full and definitely satisfied! Btw, Ford even surprised my mum with a bouquet of flowers which left her (along with the other mums) speechless and definitely feeling special.

After that we were taken to Manos Nail Spa for a relaxing mani pedi. I believe my mum and I got the best seats of the spa, over looking Burgos Circle. I fought the urge to take cat naps by chatting up a storm and joking around with my mum (HAHA), which worked!

As the day came to an end, my mum and I were very happy to have spent that Saturday together. THANK YOU FORD PHILIPPINES for that amazing Saturday!!! Both my mum and I had a great time and are very thankful for everything you all did for us that day — We’ll never ever forget it!

AHOY MATES!! Here’s my very cliche take on the nautical look. Key pieces and colours? Red, navy blue, white and gold — Check, check and CHECK! Haha I gave it my own little twist though, explains the sky high wedges and sunnies.

I love this over sized tee, it’s actually long enough to cover my shorts so if you’re headed to the beach not only will this be such a cute top but it makes a great cover up as well!!

For a number of you school has either started or is right around the corner. Good luck to you all and happy school supply shopping — Take it from me, I can seriously do that everyday! I love school supply shopping! HAHA Enjoy this song by Olly Murs. Total LSS. I know I’ve been talking about Gaga these past few days and man am I still amazed by her!! BUT! Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball

In all honesty, I wish the concert never ended. Lady Gaga is an amazing performer and no matter what people say about her, she’s just spectacular! I was left speechless after the concert because of how amazed I was. She’s a real performer and I am VERY happy that I was given the opportunity to watch her live a second time around, THANK YOU SMART!! From both my sister, Pam and I!!

The concerts opening act was DJ Zedd. Okay, he was just.. WOW! What a great way to get the crowd pumped up for the concert! I felt like I was at freakin Tomorrowland or Coachella! I was dancing and singing along like there was no tomorrow — WOOHOO!

Out of a number of concerts I’ve attended this must have been the only concert I’ve been to that really started on time! KUDOS, LADY GAGA! The moment the curtains dropped to reveal the castle on stage the crowed went WILD! Here are a number of photos I took — Forgive the photo heavy post that is about to go down!

Again.. THANK YOU SMART for the mosh pit/patron tickets. My sister and I wouldn’t have had the experience of a lifetime without them!

Lady Gaga’s advice for getting back at your exes? Well..

I was able to dance, sing, shout and laugh the night away with these two!! I don’t think the Gaga experience wouldn’t have been as fun if it weren’t for them!!

The photo above was taken while the crowd chanted “GAGA!” “WE WANT MORE!” “ENCORE!” and the like. I guess we all shouted enough cause Lady Gaga closed the show with Marry The Night. I just can’t.

As the gates of the Gaga castle came to a close, many wish the concert would just keep going on.. I included. I can say that she did an even better job than her concert years ago but nevertheless — What. A. Performer. I am still on a Gaga High and I don’t know when it’ll end but hey, who wouldn’t after THAT!!

Headed home after with Alyssa and well, we were so happy about the concert so I close this post with a “PAWS UP” photo with her. CHEERS GAGA! AMAZING CONCERT! I’M STILL AT AWE!!

All That Glitters

I know I’ve blogged about the Candy Style Awards already but I never got to talk about what I wore. I thank and blame Cams for taking my photos but sending them so late! HAHAHA!! Cams if you see this, I’m just kidding okay?!

When I think Candy Magazine, the things that pop into my mind are — PINK, young, glitters, beads, girly, fashionable, stand out and all that jazz, but since this was the Candy Style Awards night I opted to mix all those words together, jumble it all up and toss in a dash of ME and VOILA! My newest look!

Many told me I was the Candy rocker chick that night and hey I won’t complain! I was also told I looked like Miley Cyrus — Even cooler! Hahaha! I watched a movie with Kryz, Cams, Laur, Nicole, Champ and Renz after which was so much fun! I ended up changing my top though — I wouldn’t have been able to survive sitting in the cold cinema in the corset — Even if I dreaded taking that pretty top off and swapping it for a flannel! HAHA

Since the Lady Gaga Born This Way Ball is tonight, allow me to dedicate this blog post title to her, I can’t wait to watch her live again!!
