It Ain’t About the Money

I know I’m super made up, I wore this out after a shoot. Just so you all know, the feature comes out this June so I hope you can all grab a copy once it’s out! Anyway, on to my look — I wanted to mix a classy skirt with a casual cropped top to give it a bit more character. When I was planning what to wear, I thought why not put two very different pieces that nobody would ever imagine to be together and make them work. Allow me to confess that this is my very first pencil skirt and I think I am beginning to like them.

Waiting for Something

As you all know, I am such a music enthusiast and proud of it. Attending music fests are things I totally enjoy. So can you imagine how excited I was when I heard that GAP is supporting a music festival? It’s like a perfect marriage of two things I love so dearly..  Fashion and music, don’t you think so?

Here I am again trying out print on print. I think I finally got the hang of it. Anyways, if you all must know, this look is a little something that might help you when you get dressed for a music festival — Wanderland more specifically!! I know I did three posts which were Coachella (since it’s a three-day festival) inspired, so allow me to show you what I’d wear to one of our own local music festivals.

We Ditch the Whole Scene and End Up Dreaming

I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it enough in my blogs and tweets that I’m a Taylor Swift fan (believe it or not, haha)!! As for how she manages her personal life, only one thing I can say, she may have the weirdest ways of coping with failures (whatever kind) but she gets over them and turns them around to something positive. She’s a fighter and she knows how to use her resources to get back on track. With that said, you can only imagine how happy I was when I got a pair of Limited Edition Keds by Taylor Swift trainers! These are definitely one of my favorite pairs of shoes right now — thing is, I don’t want to overuse them!

We’re Up All Night to Get Lucky

Well, this is the third and last Coachella outfit for this year. What a better way to bid the festival farewell than by wearing a very ME type of outfit meaning by wearing something cool, casual and black! I added pops of colours to the look to keep everything festive and summer-ish since black isn’t a very summer-esque colour! SInce I can’t seem to part with this color, and it’s this time of the year, you can still go for good old black but I suggest sheer fabrics and accessorizing it with bright or cool colors to soften the look.

Float On

As most of us might know, sad to say, the first weekend of Coachella is coming to an end. With that said, due to the fact that I was extremely bummed that I was missing out (you can only imagine how bad it must be seeing my friends posting Coachella photos over on Instagram), I decided to dress as if I was attending the festival. Since the festival lasts for three days, allow me to post three Coachella ready looks. So, here’s the first one!
