Many of you might have known all about Nina Garcia coming to the Philippines for Fashion Week. Well, we all have to thank Jag Origins for actually bringing her here! Sadly, I couldn’t attend the show due to my schedule but I did make sure to attend a very important and intimate event. The afternoon before the show, a selected number of guests were invited to enjoy some snacks and cocktails with THE Nina Garcia and I made sure that I didn’t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity!
Take it from me when I say I’m no professional photographer. As much as my photography skills go, I’d like to stick to taking outfit shots or snapping away photos for Instagram. Other than that, everything is so foreign to me but I’m always up for a challenge and this time around it was to art direct and shoot the RSSI League of Fashion participants. Believe me, I was as worried as heck but then when I got into the groove I understood why photographer love what they do. Maybe I should make this a new hobby!
The day I left for San Francisco, I made sure to squeeze in a quick event cause I knew it was something I didn’t want to miss out on. Getting to work with Tory Burch again was definitely a treat (the first time was when I blogged THIS look) and it’s always something I’m going to love doing. My first stop for the afternoon was at the Tory Burch shop at GB5, I always love looking at the shop and at the items inside, the colours are just so enticing!
Every Philippine Fashion Week, I make sure to try my very best to attend as much shows as I possibly can. Thing is, this year I was only able to make it to one — blame it on my super busy schedule and frantic running around Manila to get things done before I left for San Francisco. Nevertheless, I made sure to attend the much awaited Bench Body fashion show featuring international Pinoy-Canadian supermodel and new face of the Bench Body line, Paolo Roldan!
Last May 17, SM Aura opened to the public and Forever 21 held a fashion show in order to celebrate the opening of a new branch!! As usual, the show was a massive hit and surely one many will remember. I was actually surprised that I made it on time cause the traffic was crazy and the amount of people in the mall was just — WOW!! Anyways, here are photos I took from the show, forgive the photo heavy post. I just fell in love with a ton of the photos (quite proud as well I must say).
