Remember when I blogged about my Denim Spa jeans (if not click THIS)? Well, a week or so after posted it, Wrangler held an event at The Spa to formally launch the collection. It was definitely my type of event cause we were pampered and it was such a fun and intimate night.

I’ve been asked by many of you, my readers about what makeup I bring around with me on a daily basis. Well, allow me to shed some light on that matter and talk to you all about what is inside my daily makeup kit. For the record, I don’t bring all my make up with me so these are what I stuff inside this cute Harajuku Lovers pouch of mine!
While I was getting dressed for a night afternoon out with friends, I don’t know what came over me but all I wanted to do was make sure to wear red and black. Maybe it’s cause I’m pretty darn excited cause the Voice season 4 is finally back on (it came back on last April 1 actually) and if you watch or know about the show, it’s logo is black, white and red! I wonder who is going to win this season?
Not many of you know this but growing up, I was such a comic book fan. From Marve comics all the way to Archie comics. SO! When I found out
that Mac was creating a line featuring Archie and his girls, my face just lit up! I remember collecting and reading the Archie comic series
and loving every bit of it so I made sure I bought a little something from the collaboration they now currently have with Mac.
Last March 1, I made sure to wake up a tad bit earlier than expected so that I could drop by the American Eagle store at Bonifacio High
Street for the private preview. I remember when I was about thirteen or so I was such a massive fan of the brand, making sure to hoard pieces in the States each time I got the chance. Luckily, it finally opened in Manila and I couldn’t be any happier!! They sell pieces that truly
fit my style as well as my lifestyle. They couldn’t be any more accurate for calling themselves America’s Favorite Denim Brand cause their jeans fit perfectly and look gorgeous when worn!
I swear, while I was walking around their shop, I felt like I was inside someones Tumblr blog. The shop totally gave off that vibe!
Hoodies! These were some of my favorite pieces along with their denims, dresses and accessories! The shop was a mix of neutral tones, hues of blue and splashes or neon here and there. It’s such a fun shop to be in, believe me!
I think this was probably my favorite side of the entire shop. From the items on this side to the colour! It’s just so eye-catching!
I think when David, Vern (not in the photo cause she wasn’t there yet) and I got dressed one thing surely stuck in our head.. DENIM! We all wore a little something with denim being one of the mail pieces of our outfit that morning. David and I chose chambrays (as well as matching frames and black bottoms) while Vern went for skinnies and cute heels! Great minds think I alike! Haha!
There are two floors in American Eagle, the first is for the ladies and the second is for the lads. I should say, the mens line is just as good as the womens! I would seriously love to buy some of their sweaters as well as backpacks.
Ladies, now you know.. There’s a new shop for you girls to buy some gifts not only for your beau but for your dad, brothers, cousins and sons as well!
Oh! Another plus? They sell cute knickers there! From panties, to bras, sleepwear and the like. Believe me, they’re so comfortable!!
As I was leaving the shop, I caught a glimpse of the stage set up for the event that was to happen that evening. It looked massive and I heard that they had to close down the road for three days prior to the event just so they could set up! You’ll see how the amazing stage looks like after when I post the event photos. It was definitely all worth the hard work!
I’ll be sure to drop by American Eagle again and I hope you all make time to swing by as well. I hope to see some of you there! Cheers! x
Earlier this week, I was given the opportunity to be one of the first in the Philippines to try L’Oréals newest addition to their long list of hair treatments.. The Steam Pod! It uses their Keratin treatment alongside a flat iron which releases steam when used. It leaves your hair most and obviously — far from dry! While watching the presentation, I knew that I was going to enjoy this!
A few months back (I bet the colour of my hair will give that away, haha) I did a shoot for shoe brand, Pedro cause they got me along with David, Lissa, Divine and Kiefer Ravena to be the brand ambassadors! I was and still am beyond ecstatic at the fact that they picked me to be a part of the Pedro Shoes family. I’ve been a fan of their shoes for a while now and to be a part of this group of brand ambassadors is just surreal! A massive thank you to the Bench and Suyen Corporation for this amazing opportunity!
We did three layouts. Two group shots and one solo layout. It was a really quick and light shoot, it’s always fun working with my Bench family! I’ve worked with them so much that I’ve made good friends with some of them already. We can all joke around and such — Happy days!
We did the shoot which was to be released during the holidays, hence the outfits. We were styled by celebrity stylist, and a good friend of mine — Sidney Yap! I like the fact that he was able to get that holiday feel with the clothes that he picked out for us all. Here are our solo layouts. First up is blogger, model and TV host, Divine Lee!
Up next is basketball star, Kiefer Ravena. If you didn’t know, he plays for the Ateneo Blue Eagles!
I bet you know who this girl is, fellow fashion blogger and my good friend, Lissa Kahayon!
I can already hear the shrieks and giggles you girls have for this fashion blogger, David Guison!
And last but hopefully not least, ME! Hahahaha!! Did you know that they don’t only sell shoes but bags as well. They’re all so chic and definitely something gorgeous to add to your bag collection.
Again, I am so blessed to be a part of this set of Brand Ambassadors. If you all wanna hit up Pedro I know they have one at Bonifacio High Street and they’ll soon be opening one up at Greenbelt 5 (right next to Charles & Keith)! I’ll keep you all posted on that. Well, till my next Pedro blog post — CHEERS!!
When Christmas is right around the corner, I have this thing about wearing RED. I don’t know if it’s just me but then it makes me feel all festive and warm inside! Well, I felt the warmth literally with this coat on and gosh how I wish that I didn’t live in a tropical country. I would LOVE to experience a White Christmas yet again.
When I saw this jacket on the racks at Mango I knew for a fact that it was something I needed. Yes, needed. I may live in the Philippines but it doesn’t mean I can’t travel or even lend it to my loved ones and friends who will be going somewhere chilly and might need a gorgeously red coat to keep them all warm and cozy! PLUS! This beyond chic coat is so affordable it wont burn a hole in your wallet!
Also, if you know of anyone who is flying-back, moving or visiting somewhere cold and is looking for a chic coat? Tell them to rush to Mango. I promise you! OH! And, if you want get that family member, relative or friend a gift, this coat would be perfect!
For those wondering, this is how the pretty dress I’m wearing looks like sans the coat. It’s got these very chic sort of box pleats going on in front and at the back of the lower part of the dress. Isn’t this such a cute piece for Christmas parties?
This dress is something you can definitely wear over and over again. It’s easy to work around with. You can wear flats, boots or like what I did, pumps and just layer on some accessories! I decided to keep my accessories at a minimum since I had a gorgeous red coat on.
How’s everyone’s Christmas shopping going? I hope you’ve all started cause I for one haven’t! WISH ME LUCK! With that said, let’s get into the Christmas spirit shall we? Here’s my favorite Christmas song and I hope you like it as well, it’s All I Want for Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey! Only a few more days!!
