When I was done getting ready and looked in the mirror, I immediately thought, “This is such a perfect date night type of dress.” Most especially for Valentines day! The sweet colour as well as the silhouette. Perfect for a dinner out with your special someone! *wink*

Sadly, I didn’t wear this out on a date, but I still wish I did though. I think it’s cause I feel like the dress gives off such a romantic vibe. Instead I used it out to run a few errands (quite ironic right?) and visit the salon before the MET Gala which was happening that same night.

Okay. Do forgive the bandages. I ran out of the skin toned one and had to settle for these electric blue ones, haha! Sadly I was wearing heels the night before and too much walking caused a few wounds. Sad. But I’m all better now!

I decided to keep my hair up and away from my face to have that clean sleek look with the help of my ever dependable Goody elastics (finally, they aren’t on my wrists). I felt the hairstyle gives the whole look a girl next door sort of vibe. Clean, sweet, and very lady like. Yes that was what I was trying to achieve! Haha! This type of makeup is perfect for daytime dates, or when you just wanna hangout with that certain someone at the mall, some thing very casual liek the beach or at a cafe. It’s very light and natural. Just more depth or intensity (darker) on your make up, and you’ll look completely different for the next date. Wouldn’t you like to surprise him and be unpredictable?

Allow me to finally talk about the song I instantly fell in love with. Girls and boys, meet Luigi D’ Avola. He’s an upcoming artist with a voice that will surely get girls hearts fluttering. I think his voice is so soothing and really fits the song. Luigi is Mecca Music’s new artist and is produced and managed by my friend Champ Lui Pio. I love how this song actually has such a special message that a lot of us can relate to. I love songs that can express feelings that are sometimes difficult to put into words. Yup call me a hopeless romantic, guilty as charged! Haha! Don’t you think, we need more songs like these? Here it is, listen to it and fall in love all over again..

I remember Champ saying that he’s very One Direction-esuqe.. Which obviously got me curious about what he sounded like and well, he was right! Hahaha! I actually heard him live during a Toms event and I swear, Luigi is the cutest! To think, he’s only 18 years old and he writes his own songs. Now who wouldn’t want a song written for and about them right? Girls? Am I right? HAHA! Well, I can say more things about him but allow me to do that some other time.
