La Vie en Rose

I decided to drop by Polo to have lunch one afternoon. I decided to keep things as casual, comfortable, and as laid-back as I possibly can. While I was there having lunch, I wasn’t wearing the hat and blazer. I enjoy having al fresco meals, so when I can, I grab the chance. Luckily, it was a nice sunny cool day! I wore the blazer when I got to the mall for we all know that here in Manila, a sunny day means full blast airconditioning system inside malls and buildings.

While I was getting dressed, I originally wanted to go for this whole nautical look but I ended up going for this sort of Parisian chic sort of look. It’s the kind of outfit I’d wear if I were in Paris, riding on my bike, dropping by a bakery and spend the rest of the day in a park, soaking up the sun and the culture. How amazing would that be?

I’m using another Anagon piece. I think this speaks a lot of my personality. I love to dream and I believe that if you can dream it, you can do it. Dreaming is a good past time but of course it has to have some follow through. I want to believe that I am where I am, I have done things that I have, because I once dreamt. I still have bigger dreams and I know that when it is the right time, I will reach them.

I decided to use my Chanel lipstick in Enjouee. I love how it’s pretty much the same shade as my shorts!

| Blazer: Mango | Top: DKNY | Shorts and Loafers: Cotton On | Bowler Hat: Brixton | Connector Ring: Anagon | Bracelets: H&M (Small Beaded Ones) and Anagon (Breathe and Fearless Wire Bangles) | Star Clay Earrings: Toxic Candy Clay Shop |

I know I haven’t blogged these loafers in awhile, but it doesn’t mean that I haven’t been using them. I always take these babies with me when I’m out and walking around in heels! I keep it nearby so I can make a quick change when I get tired! Haha!

Kept my accessories simple that afternoon. I love these words, fearless and dream. When you think about it, these words go together. Think about it. When you dream big and are fearless when taking chances, you’ll surely go far.

I shot this the day after my Keratin treatment and I used the Mythic Oil, it gave my hair some extra shine!!

I usually use stud or spike earrings when I can because when I use bigger sized earrings I can’t wear earrings on my other piercings. BUT! When I was going through my earrings, I saw these clay molded earrings from Toxic Candy Clay Shop I decided to ditch the studs and wear these stars! Cute, right?

Since my look turned out to be this sort of Parisian inspired look, I wanted to pick a song and blog title that would embody that sort of French feel. I remembered that when I watched Monte Carlo, the song La Vie en Rose played and it sort of got stuck in my head. So, when picking a song, I felt that this just went so well.. And it’s got a pleasant sound to it! Listen and enjoy.
