Earlier this week, I was given the opportunity to be one of the first in the Philippines to try L’Oréals newest addition to their long list of hair treatments.. The Steam Pod! It uses their Keratin treatment alongside a flat iron which releases steam when used. It leaves your hair most and obviously — far from dry! While watching the presentation, I knew that I was going to enjoy this!
Meet the Steam Pod experts. Chosen by Alex Carbonel!
That’s the magical Steam Pod!
Here’s my seat-mate, Tracy asking one of the Steam Pod experts about which treatment she should try. Both Tracy and I went for the Steam Care Service (it was either that or the Steam Bond Service) which took about an hour or two. It starts off with rinsing your hair, drying it, flat ironing it, applying the Keratin treatment, rinsing that off after ten minutes, drying your hair and using the Steam Pod to either straighten or curl your hair! Sounds like a lot of steps but it’s not as overwhelming as it sounds!
Here are some of the L’Oréal Keratin hair treatments we got to take home! I was given the Mythic Oil and I cannot wait to use it! When they placed it on me, I couldn’t help but notice the aroma, it smelled SO good! Definitely something I’ll be using a lot!
The result of the treatment: Smooth, shiny and healthy hair! Since I have short hair, I decided to go with it being straightened. I took advantage of the fact that my hair was so pretty that afternoon that I made sure to take outfit photos — watch out for that entry tomorrow!
I took my Canon 1100D with me but this time I made sure to use my kit lens. I’m so happy I took it with me to this event. I usually use my G12 but then I decided that this year, I will make sure to give all my readers quality blog photos. With that said, I take my Canon SLR with me to events that I attend! It will definitely be a good companion to capture great photos and memories!
Here I am with Tracy who decided to have her hair curled! Gosh, it made me miss my long hair cause I miss seeing my hair curled like hers. Oh well, I’ve got like a year or so to go before it’s long again! HAHA!
It was great having Tracy next to me during the whole treatment. We were able to catch up, chat a bit, joke around and take loads of photos! Love this girl!
