Scent-sational: P&G Beauty Camay Launch

When an invitation came in the mail for me talking about how P&G were to launch a new set of scents coming all the way from Grasse, France I was excited! A few years back, my family and I were able to visit Grasse and we were given the opportunity to visit the famous perfume factory, Parfumerie Fragonard. While I was there, I was able to learn more about perfumes which made me all nostalgic when I got the event invite cause I knew that this was going to be an interesting event!

The moment I set foot in Opus, I didn’t recognize it! They were able to transform the club into a totally different place. On one side, they built three different rooms representing the three main scents: Rose, Grapefruit and Vanilla. Each had its own look pertaining to the scent as well as a special orderv inspired by the scent represented by each room.

The first room was represented by the Rose scent, then the middle was the Grapefruit and last but not the least, the third room represented Vanilla.

They placed bottles of the pure concentrate of each scent for the guests to be able to smell and take part in the event.

Here the hosts spoke to Daphne Osena – Paez about the scents and asked her to explain what they meant and what each scent would benefit whoever decided to wear it. From Grapefruit giving the illusion that you’re six years younger, to Rose helping you with remembering memories to Vanilla which calms and relaxes you. Amazing what scents can do!

At the end of thank walk through with all the scents, they finally announced that the event was to launch the Camay, a scented hand and body soap! Wow, when Cams, Laur and I opened the bags and smelled the soaps we were all ready and excited to hop in the shower and try them out (which is exactly what I did when I got home and EFF, it smelled so gooooood)!!
