Florals and Gold x SM Mens Fashion Show

I am going to make this a habit: Blogging about events a few days after. I always end up forgetting to blog about events or fashion shows that I watch because I end up saving them for later posts, but starting today that’s all about to change! With that said, here’s my blog post about the VERY recent SM Mens Fashion Show that I made sure not to miss out on!

Since my lovely friends are over at Phuket and left us both in Manila, Sean and I were dates to the show, but I ain’t complaining! The show was such a joy to watch with him by my side! Sean, if you see this.. ALAM MO NA YAN (You know what I’m talking about), HAHAHAHA!

The moment the show started I couldn’t help but catch myself ogling.. At the pieces of course!!

I don’t know if you read my blog post about the MOA sale that one time (For those who don’t know, read THIS), but I think I admitted to having a huge crush on Daniel Matsunaga — Who could blame me? Come on ladies, I bet you agree with me as well, am I right? Haha! So, I made sure to try to take some good shots to document the show and I’m glad how they came out!

This sweater is just too chic! It’s from Rhett Eala’s collaboration with Main Street. For those who don’t know, SM gathered an amazing pool of designers to collaborate with and with bias aside, Rhetts collection would have to be my favorite one. From the cuts, colours and embellishments!

The show was amazing! It had so much gimmicks which left the entire audience wanting more. The show was definitely one for the books and it’ll surely be talked about even after Philippine Fashion Week is over.

Here are the designers, Randy Ortiz (for Uberto Duranti), Frederick Peralta (for Michel André), Rhett Eala (for Main Street), Ivarluski Aseron (for Coco Republic) and Louis Claparols (for Markus). Sadly Rajo Laurel (for W By Rajo) couldn’t make it to the show!

The moment the show ended a mini party commensed. There was an open bar and some good music by DJ Mars Miranda (who gave away CDs with the songs used during the show, SWEET). I was also so happy to get to see some of my amazing blog readers, take photos and chat with them as well! That’s surely something I love about attending these sort of events.. Getting to meet my blog readers and you know who you are!!

Okay, I just needed to post this. HAHA!

ANYWAY! I know you’ve already seen a few tid bits of my dress so allow me to show you what I wore to the show. I was actually debating between this dress and a black peplum dress but this won and I think it was a good thing that I chose this! Not for anything, this dress made me stand out not only during Fashion Week but even during the after party as well!

I am so in love with the details of this dress! From the fabric to the gold piping — It’s definitely a dress fit for Fashion Week, don’t you think so? Also, since the dress already had a ton of things going on, I kept my accessories simple as not to “overload” the whole ensemble.

Btw, I made sure to curl my hair for the show! Just a little something different since for the past x number of looks my hair has been straight — It was time to switch things up to “bounce”! Haha Btw, thank you Anton Aguila for the taking my photos!

Why am I making pa-cute? I DO NOT KNOW. Honestly. Hahahaha! I’m only putting this photo cause it’s not my usual pose, haha!

| Dress: Apartment 8 | Heels: Aldo | Necklace and Ring: SM Accessories | Spiked Bracelet: Primadonna | Vintage Gold Casio Watch: Arm Candy PH |

Oh btw, another thing I love about the dress? It’s not only sweet but it’s a sexy dress as well, hmm, sweet and sexy — Not bad, not bad at all! I quite like that mix really!

  1. I love Daniel! I had a picture with him at the PFW from two years ago. He’s hotter now! I’d wolf whistle if I knew how to. :) )

  2. Hi Patricia, I totally loved the dress you wore on the event. It has beautiful cuts and amazing prints, so I could not help but ask, which store did you buy it from? Looking forward to more of such entertaining posts on your blog.
