Aside from being a nice anniversary gift, we’ve been wanting to eat at Yabu since we started reading great reviews about it! However, because of various commitments, we never seem to find time to eat there! Moreover, my boyfriend started his masters classes just recently and according to him, it’s kind of difficult since Economics is too far from his undergrad course – Molecular Biology and Biotechnology so if I win those GCs, we’ll definitely have an awesome anniversary celebration, plus it will be a great break for him from his studies.

I can’t wait to eat in Yabu because.. first, I trust them when they say its authentic japanese resto. Im not really into Japanese restos BUT this I really have to try. Im even the one who encourages my boyfriend to eat there and even recommend it to my friends even if I havent tried it myself. It just feels like I have known, eaten and trusted Yabu eversince (and still even continuously) read “no-fail” or no-bad reviews about it. We’ve been wanting to try Yabu but time doesnt permit cause Megamall is a little away from home, if we visit we dont get to stay til dinner (so imagine how excited I am for the MOA opening
) I feel like I have a dozen (or even more) reasons why I cant wait to eat in Yabu, and it might take me forever typing if you ask me why. Another reason is that me and boyf is always on the hunt for new restos cause it’s one thing we like doing together, we post on our mini blog and family and friends thinks of it as their guide whemever they dont know where to eat and sometimes it our choices seems limited so trying a jap cuisine is new to our tastebuds. Plus, with a 2k GC I can now finally tag my family along with me and they can finally know why Im raving about Yabu even if I havent tried it myself.

I’ve had bad experiences with Japanese food before that’s why I’ve never been really fond of it but I’ve heard so many great things about Yabu that I can’t wait to try it out myself.
