Controlled Chaos

Do you remember the Pantene teaser I posted? Well, this is about the Stylista x Pantene collaboration between my fellow bloggers Laureen, Camille, Kryz and yours truly. With this first look, the first of four looks for the Pantene Stylista Series, this is called Controlled Chaos. It’s a spontaneous blend of textures, colors and technique. The person who styled and implemented the look was Pantene hair expert Alex Carbonell. He was to execute a hair style that shows controlled spontaneity, mixed with textures, colors and technique to arrive at a look that will best epitomize what Pantene can do for your hair.

The first thing that was done to my hair was the usual shampooing and conditioning of my hair. But we didn’t use the typical salon shampoo and conditioner cause they used Pantene’s Total Damage Care. This prepared my hair for the heat and styling that it was about to go through. I’m pretty damn sure you can see how shiny, healthy and manageable my hair looks? ALL THANKS TO PANTENE! I swear, what would I do without Pantene.

Then he created a geometric zigzag line in contrast to the usual straight line to have two sections. The two sections were then twisted and tied in the middle. Think a modernized Game of Thrones kind of do. Pretty cool I must say!

This hairstyle can be called Controlled Chaos for the style maybe simple but the simple detail of the line creates a unique look coupled with my hair color. My color in itself is somewhat chaotic and yet controlled. It is neat, clean and simple looking but the difference is in the details.
