Black & Glitters

I do apologize for such a late night post but I couldn’t go a day without blogging something. I have this “need” to update my blog for my dear readers. This look is quite back logged (or in simple words delayed) for I wore this outfit the day I checked not one but TWO things off my bucket list. What might they be? Well, the first was to get to meet and have a photo with Joe Jonas and second, to walk for a fashion show (I walked for SM GTW remember?) during the Philippine Fashion Week.

Oh what a fun-filled and memorable day that was! My call time for the show was supposed to be way earlier and I literally begged that I be given a chance to come later. Meeting Joe Jonas was a chance I just couldn’t forgo. I felt like I was a freshman in high school all over again.

| Dress: Topshop | Glitter Flats: Zara | Necklace, Gold Ring and Diamond Ring: Custom made | Connector Ring: SM Accessories |

The thing that made me want to buy this dress were the cutouts. The dress has a very chic and conservative looking silhouette but there’s a little twist or some kind of naughtiness to it. I like that in clothes. I like clothes with some surprise or twist. Don’t you think so? It was perfect also cause the cutouts kept me cool all day. This is definitely a day to night dress that you can’t go wrong with!

What a day it was! It was totally for the books. I will never forget this day for the rest of my life. My children will definitely hear a story about this day… Someday :)

Stylista x Pantene

Whenever I receive comments, emails, tweets and the like, one of the topics that is always brought up is my hair. Like what colour it is, how do I keep it looking the way it does after all the coloring, what products I use and all that jazz. I for one enjoy experimenting with my hair (I’m sure you all remember the coloured streaks and the red hair) and I’m glad Pantene is there to help protect and keep my hair healthy.

Want to know what this is all about? Well let me tell you all about it. SO. Pantene has teamed up with 4 of your favorite fashion bloggers once again and I am very flattered to be one of them! Remember I did something with Pantene late last year with Barney Martin? Well, this time around we’ll be working with Pantene hair expert Alex Carbonell (celebrity stylist and chief creative director of Studio Fix by Alex Carbonell salon). Each blogger will be sporting four different hairstyles each!

Next month, I will show you four different (and very trendy) do’s that you can sport and work into your oen different ensembles. This is just a teaser. Wait up for the next few posts! I am beyond ecstatic to be able to continue this amazing partnership with Pantene through this new project called Stylista x Pantene.
(This is done in collaboration with Pantene)

Start All Over

Whenever I run errands I try to keep my look as comfortable as I possibly can without risking that (with the lack of a better term) chic factor. With this look I decided to dress up the basic tank top and denim look with some studded ombre shorts. What do you think?

| Tank Top and Knapsack: Topshop | Cover Up: Max Studio | Shorts: Shortcuts | Wedges: Parisian | Bracelets: Extreme Finds (White and Gold), Primadonna (Gold Studs) and Meg* (Pink Cuff) |

BTW! For those who like my shorts, get ready to view the latest Shortcuts collection TONIGHT at 9pm!! Don’t miss it, trust me. I for one will definitely be glued to my laptop to be sure to see the newest batch of shorts!! Check out the photo below and start eyeing what you want!

To all those in Manila, keep warm and dry! The rain has been terrible these past few days! Cheers! xx

Warning

For the past number of blog entries you might have noticed that I’ve been wearing a lot of neons and bright colours. I don’t know what it is in the air, but I’ve been drawn more to these sort of things. It must be the gloomy weather that makes me choose bright happy colours to kinda reverse the mood. Don’t you do that too sometimes? Okay. I’d like to put it out there — I love the slashes on this tank top! It’s placed in such a unique way that it gives this VERY unique and very edgy feel to it! Or is edgy an understatement?

| Tank Top: Mizar Clothing | Bra: Bench | Shorts: Gap | Heels: S&H | Bag: Alexander Wang | Watch: Rolex | Necklace: +-÷x | Bracelets: The Bead Shop (Inspire Cuff), WAGW (Multi Layer Studded Cuff) and Primadonna (Single Layer Studded Bracelet) |

You can never go wrong with black heels, and these are no exception to that popular belief. Gotta stay true to my favorite color. Not only do the heels give the shoes character but trust me when I say this, surprisingly, I can actually balance on those sky high stilts and they’re also very comfy! There is something about the way these heels are constructed. They are those shoes that you’ve got to wear to know how good they are.
