For the line up, I will tweet a photo of it in a bit for those curious cats out there to see. As of now, I am going to one, see if there are any plans for me tonight. Two, if there aren’t any then I shall (don’t judge me) prep my outfit for tomorrow. Three, pack my back pack. And last, snuggle up to a cold pillow and get my dream on before the madness that is Manila Music Fest! So, stay tuned to my Twitter for I will do my ultimate best to get my 3g up and running that day so I can tweet about Manila Music Festival. Till then, CHEERS! xx

League Of Fashion
David’s cool kicks! This was while he and I were trying to understand how to work our Canon 1100D’s and 50mm Lenses. This came out quite cool if you ask me.
Here are some highlight photos from the first collection. The interns had to play around with some sort of nude colour palette. I love how the looks were all very much their personal style as well as how the entire first segment of the show still looked coherent.
Here’s David being interviewed by Ira Giorgetti about the video he shot for this event. It was a really cool video! If David posts it, I’ll edit this post so that you can see what he came up with.
I’d like to say COGRATULATIONS yet again to all the interns for a job well done as well as snaps to you all for the great styling and very interesting Q&A portion I must admit. Want to know who these interns are? Well then, everyone, meet (in order of photo appearance; left to right) Raymond and Cristina. Chynna and Fay. Louie and Janine. Diego and Remar. Sarah and Chari. Sam and Marianne. Kaye and Adrian and Erica (SORRY I DON’T HAVE A PHOTO OF YOU! I remember trying to take a photo of you but my cam didn’t wan’t to focus, hassle).
After the event they had an awarding ceremony (graduation and peg) and it was over. I got to snap photos with the interns (do email me the shots if you can) and chat with some friends as well. I of course stopped over at Topshop to do some damage to my wallet and good thing I did cause without that spontaneous trip there? I wouldn’t have anything to wear for the festival tomorrow! BITTER SWEET I must say so myself. Haha!

Something very simple yet very sophisticated I must say so myself, yeah? Anyway, I know the blog title has NO connection to my look whatsoever. Thing is I’ve been hearing this over the radio, used in videos and what not so to get it out of my head, I listened to the entire thing. Last song syndrome is at play now. HAHA! Enjoy the song though. I won’t lie, it’s pretty catchy!

Beat The Hot, Hot Heat
FIRST: Dress comfortably. You wouldn’t want to be in a denim jacket or leather vest under this heat right? throw on some shorts, a tank top or cool sleeveless button down. I’m pretty sure you know what I mean. I mean come on — This is pretty much a given nowadays, haha!
SECOND: You can definitely add swimwear to your everyday wear. At the festival a bikini top and high waisted shorts/pants/skirts would be awesome. Thing is, if you’re in the city.. Maybe a maillot would work best. That with a high waisted skirt, shorts or even pants. That’ll work!
THIRD: Accessorize. But do make sure they’ll benefit you. No one would want to walk around with ten layers of chain necklaces and diamond earrings out to a festival would they? Haha! Sport a hat, sunnies and maybe a bracelet, necklace or an anklet or two. Just keep it simple. Trust me, you’ll thank me later. Oh and try bringing a mat to sit on. You wouldn’t want to sit on the dirt or stand the entire time would you?
FOURTH: Your footwear will definitely be a huge factor in this type of situation. Wear comfy kicks like sneakers or something. You might also want to wear some good leather sandals or maybe even leather boots (if you’re in shorts or a short skirt). I wouldn’t reccomend any plastic made shoe cause they can get pretty painful towards the end of the night. Pack flip flops in your bag also! Oh and I don’t reccomend sky high heels to a festival. To the mall or to events yes. But let me repeat myself — Not to the festival.
FIFTH: Carry a bag that will allow you to do your thing. Don’t lag around a duffle/gym bag or a suitcase to the festival (or to the mall even). Carry a light tote or a back pack. Just make sure it has a zipper. Better safe than sorry, I always say! (Ps: Feeling I went to Coachella! HAHA Malasimbo is just as great!!)
SIXTH: Guys. If you don’t know what to wear go for the basics. A V-Neck. Maybe a button down. Shorts. Sneakers. Hat. Shades. VOILA! MUY GWAPO! Haha You can even dress it up a bit more if you’d like but keep it comfy.
For the record, I don’t own any of the photos I posted (even mine cause Tracy took it, haha). Also, you can check out the MMF blog posts for some extra helpful tips. Click THIS LINK and THIS LINK for some extra tips and tricks. See you there! Cheers!
