Cross My Heart

I only had the idea of wearing this dress during nights out with friends, but when the sun is shining bright, this definitely does the job! The cut outs kept me cool while out with my family.

I also got another goodie from KSays! A new case for my phone, if it ain’t obvious yet — Purple is one of my favourite colors. This one is perfect for my Blackberry since this is the phone I take around with me and it’s one of those soft jelly cases which it’s sort of a shock-proof kind of case.

Here are a few photos I took while I was out and about with my family, It was fun taking photos cause it was so sunny — Who wouldn’t love that? Only problem was that the heat was unbearable that day!!

Till the next post! Adios!

2012 Oscar Red Carpet Picks

Each year all the glamorous and gorgeous celebrities gather together to celebrate Hollywood’s biggest night — The Oscars. I believe I even did a similar post last year cause I loooove watching this segment of the Oscars, this is where I can gush over the gorgeous gowns and get some inspiration as well. Gosh, I wish there was a reason for me to wear a gown and get all dolled up.. And feel pretty of course! *sigh*

(Photo from Nylon.com)

ANYWAY! Here are my top 10 best dressed picks during the Oscars Red Carpet event. My first best dressed pick would have to be Rooney Mara in Givenchy Couture. Doesn’t she look like an edgy version of Audrey Hepburn? This is such a transformation isn’t it? I’m pretty certain most (if not all) of you have watched Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, right? Well, enough said! The Best Actress nominee looks like an old Hollywood actress in this, amazing!

My next pick is Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen. I love the mix of gold and black, this is so chic and timeless. She definitely looks like a star in this gown.

The ever so gorgeous and hilarious, Emma Stone in a fuchsia Giambattista Valli. Though this dress got mixed reviews, I love this dress and she looks stunning in this! A vision so to say. Gosh, this girl is going places and I must say, I’ve been a fan ever since Superbad and I will always be!

I was surprised to see Anna Faris looking so sleek and glam in this fully sequined Preen gown. I love how high fashion she looks in this, sporting an Anna Wintour bob. I love the low back of this gown, this kind of dress is just all sorts od sexy!

Next is Gwyneth Paltrow in a gorgeous Tom Ford gown. Okay, I cannot get over this ensemble — She looks so regal! For those who didn’t catch the Red Carpet segment, she mentioned that the cape is detachable. Genius! This is a look I am so sure many will copy.

Oscar presenter Cameron Diaz in Gucci is gorgeous. It’s so simple yet so eye catching. I’m pretty sure she got the less-is-more memo cause she looks amazing in this gown!

The A Week With Marilyn star, Michelle Williams in Louis Vuitton. This gorgeous coral tired dress hugs her body perfectly and she definitely looks like a star in this. I should say, this color (which I believe is coral) looks amazing on her!

I have this thing for white gowns. Well, Mila Jovovich’s Elie Saab Fall Couture gown is pretty much gorgeous. I remember watching the pre-Oscar segment and she mentioned that this was her first time to attend the Oscars and wanted we wear that perfect gown. She’s definitely living up to that statement.

George Clooney’s plus one, as Award Season draws to a close, Stacy Keibler went out with a bang on the red carpet tonight wearing a gold Marchesa gown. She definitely looks amazing in this, wearing something like this is definitely something not everyone can wear!

And last but not least!! Giuliana Rancic in a fully beaded Tony Ward gown. AMAZING!! I would love to wear this gown — If given the chance I’d wear this in a heartbeat.

Here are my other picks, let me know who were your favourites!

Neon On Neon

This look I believe is the most colorful I have ever been. Something different I must say. Oh, and if ya’ll scroll down and read the rest of my entry you might notice that today, I pretty much have no black on me! SAY WHAAAAAAAAAT??

| Dress (turned top): Topshop | Skirt and Choker: Versace x H&M | Heels: Charles and Keith | Belt: Nava | Rings: WAGW (Black), Forever 21 (Orange) and From Pauline (Turquoise) | Cuff: Mauve |

Ohmygoodness. Thank God for these Ouchless Elastics from Goody. It was so hot while taking outfit photos that I decided to go for that high pony I was talking about in my previous post. I don’t do this often cause sayang naman my ombre-ed hair! Haha!

This was a total Versace for H&M over loaded outfit. I just needed to get it out of my system before the collaboration with Marni comes out! Haha! But I reckon it was one of the few times I’ve actually attempted color blocking. It’s fun I must say! Well, happy Sunday folks, here’s to a new week up ahead!

Everybody Got Their Something

I’ve been trying out new colors this year, I’m in the warm tones now. Specifically tan, though you can now add wine to that growing list of mine. I promise to wear more colors this year, yeah?

| Cardi: Forever 21 | Top and Rings: WAGW | Skirt: Glitterati | Loafers: Topshop | Bag: Lanvin | Belt: Nava | Sunnies: H&M | Watch: Rolex | Necklace: Crave More x David Guison | Hair Elastic: Goody |

Nowadays the weather’s been pretty hot. With that in mind, I always (and I mean ALWAYS) have my handy dandy Goody Stay Put Elastics around my wrist just in case. No fail, swear! I have my Spin Pins in my bag as well but I was aiming to get to sport a high pony today, but luckily it was cool where I was.

Like my new pose for this post? I think I should do jump shots more often, what do you think? HAHA!

Skin Food

I was asked to blog about my beauty secrets over on my Facebook page. Well, I don’t have like a total regimen, so I’ll put the basic things I use on a daily basis. Hopefully you can learn from these few tips I’m about to share with you. Allow me to show you some of the products I use pretty much on a daily basis..

(L-R) Neutrogena Wave (My daily facial wash. I get the pads which exfoliate my skin and leave it minty (seriously) and smooth after washing my face), Neutrogena Hydro Boost (I wear this day and night. I always put this on before my make up as a moisturizer and at night when I sleep to keep my skin hydrated), Nivea Sparkling White Facial Moisturizer (I use this when I know that I’ll be exposed to the sun. It’s SPF 30+ which will keep my skin tone one shade) and Shu Uemura Purifying and Cleansing Oil (I use this before I wash my face and to remove my makeup, for some reason this removes ALL my makeup, it does wonders).

(L-R) Celeteque Anti-Wrinkle Beads (They say, you get get wrinkles as soon as you reach 20? Well, I put this every week. Just to be safe! Haha), Nivea Cell Repair Lotion (I put lotion everyday, especially after a shower since your skin is still moist, it’ll lock in the moisture), Nivea Whitening and Moisturizing Deodorant (It’s self explanatory, HAHA), Cetaphil (This is what I use to wash my face after using the Wave), Boots Botanics Eye Make Up Remover (Sometimes it’s hard to remove my mascara or eyeliner and this is the best I’ve ever tried, I buy this in the States or in London though) and the Bench Organics Body Scrub (I just got this recently and I just ADORE it!! Other that it exfoliating my skin, it leaves it smooth and soft. It smells real good too)!!

I hope you learned a little something from my little tricks, tips and secrets! If you have any more blog suggestions feel free to contact me via my Facebook page, Twitter or simply email me. Till the next!
