Last Sunday I was given the amazing opportunity to style Julia (as her official stylist) for both ASAP Rocks and The Buzz. It was definitely one for the books, never did I ever think that this kind of job entailed such work. If you read my previous blog entry, I mentioned that I was running from studio to studio, and guess what, I really was.. And in heels! Thank God my shoes were comfy, despite the height of my heels, haha!
The first look I had to style today was for their first spiel on ASAP Chillout. I along with Rain (who is Kat’s stylist) opted to make the two gorgeous gals have semi-similar outfits. For this first one, we played around with orange and accessories. When I say accessories, I mean the same Extreme Finds necklace!!
After which, we had to rush back to the dressing room to get the two dressed for their dance number. They were the second performance I believe, so we definitely had to hustle. They did one dance and another one with a 10 second interval for some sort of [extremely] quick change. This was in preparation for their dance number for the Growing Up cast.
Time for the third outfit change of the day. They had to do another spiel for this campaign on ASAP. They were given shirts so Rain and I had to work around that as well, this time we played around with the color blue and we also exchanged their current Growing Up character personalities for this one as well. Julia went for something a tad bit more boho and Kat went for something much more girly, haha!
The view of the stage from my end of the studio. I didn’t go closer so I could easily leave when I was supposed to get Julia’s last outfit all set.
Last but not the least, the last thing I styled for that day — The Buzz. This called for a more glammed up look so I decided to achieve that with loads of accessories on top of a simple yet elegant dress. Since her character Tammy always wears purple (like how Kat’s character Ella is always in yellow) we made sure to stick to that color palette.
I was tired indeed, but it was definitely the good and fulfilling kind of tired. Till the next!! I hope everyone has an amazing week ahead of them!! xo
I don’t wear sneakers but for this post I’d definitely make an exception. I can say that the last time I’ve ever worn sneakers was *thinks* wow, I can’t even remember! I only wear sneakers when I have dance practice or what have you. It was a nice change, and the cute thing about these are that they come in well, PINK! HAHA! Thank you so much to Tretorn for these awesome kicks!!

It was nice to give my feet a breather from wearing heels the entire long weekend, not to mention while I was in ABS last Sunday, I was running around the from the studio to the dressing room over and over again in heels mind you. But more on that in my next post, so watch out for it!
In a nut shell (Taken from their Facebook page): Tretorn celebrates a lifestyle lived largely outside with functional and stylishly understated footwear, rainwear and tennis balls. Since 1891, Tretorn is practical for life’s adventures. Founded in by Henry Dunker in Helsingborg Sweden near the turn of the 19th century, Tretorn takes inspiration from it’s Scandinavian roots and carries that vitality of spirit throughout all it’s collections.
For many, Tretorn brings back nostalgic memories of grade school when students in the 80s and 90s were required to wear the Swedish shoe brand’s classic tennis shoes in gym class. The Tretorn Nylite tennis shoe, born in 1967, is regarded as the first luxury sports shoe.
Worn by Björn Borg in the era when tennis stars made rock stars blush, and immortalized by 1980′s The Official Preppy Handbook, the Nylite epitomizes Swedish minimalism, making it a favorite for over 50 years.

Btw, I trimmed my hair yesterday! And again, say goodbye to my bangs! HAHA!
I got my blog title from a line coming from Vanessa Hudgens’ song Sneakernight. If you haven’t heard it, watch the video below, haha! I thought it was the perfect song for this post, don’t you think so?
None other than *drum roll please* KAMILLE DIMATALO!!! She gave a very interesting set actually, she showed several styles all in one, and all were different and could be worn in real life. Kudos dear! Do expect an email from me within today so check your email when you can!!

Thing is, my friend Zarina brought her blazers to school and I tried this electric blue one on and well, decided to wear it during my look post today. I took my Topshop sweater off and replaced it with this instead, haha!
I used my dads Lumix LX5 to take my photos today. What do you all think? I love my G12 till death do us part but it’s been a dream of mine to own a Lumix, a GF1 to me exact. But of course, my G12 baby is still a force to be reckoned with.
Thank God for scheduled posts and for the gorgeous Alyssa Lapid for taking my look shots today. I am currently doing God knows what right now (most probably pulling out for this weekend) and well, of course I’d want to keep my blog updated as always. So TGIF everyone! Cheers! xx
