Cause I’m Walkin’ On Sunshine

First of all, sorry for the little look hiatus, I have so much back logged look posts so allow me to start posting them again. About a week or so ago, Kryz, Camille and myself had lunch together at 2nd’s (which I highly recommend for you all to try — check out that bacon chicaron!! Thing is Cams and I were the only ones who ate it, haha). It was great talking to the both of them, we had so much to talk about but not enough time, really!

| Blazer: WAGW | Tank top: 2% | Leather Leggings and Accessories: Forever 21 | Shoes: Parisian | Bag: Desperate for Bags | Rings: Mia Casa | Watch: Jeremy Scott x Swatch |

Camille can DEFINITELY take good photos!! I love these shots she took of my accessories — and of course my entire look shots as well!!

And I know what you’re all thinking, so — YES. I wore this under the blazing heat, I didn’t know it would be THAT hot out, really. Oh and thank you sooo much to Camille for taking my photos despite the heatwave that day. Here are shots of what Cams and Kryz wore to lunch, which is also another reason why I made sure to dress up!

Happy weekend everyone! xx

Due x Collezione

21 years ago (we’re the same age, cool beans! Haha) inside the walls of Rustans, Rhett Eala came up with the clothing line called, Due. It’s so cool to know that when Rhett (who is now my boss) came up with this concept, he was merely officemates with my mom! Just a little trivia for you all. Anyway, this line consisted of clean lines, simple cuts and mainly the whole minimalist kind of feel which he still carried on but with a more modern touch to it. Due is now currently open in Rockwell (inside Collezione C2) and their newest addition.. In Greenbelt 5.

I didn’t have anything to wear so a big THANK YOU to Rhett for lending me a dress to wear to the event. I’m definitely buying this one!! Oh and for the record, here are the credits to my look — Dress: DUE, Necklaces: Vintage, Shoes: Dolce Vita, Bag: Nine West.

I attended an event yesterday July 27 for the unveiling and opening of Due in Greenbelt 5. If you’re going to look for the shop, you’ll find it in when you make a right on the corner by Marks And Spencer. But as of now, allow me to show you all some shots of the event.

Here I am with the EIC of Manila Bulletin’s Style Weekend, Liza Illarde. If you all remember, I along with other bloggers were featured there and even on the cover!

This was when the program started, Rhett gave a speech to introduce Due to his guests who consisted of close friends and family. It was followed by a mini fashion show, wherein he showcased some of Due’s pieces.

After the mini-show we had, the guests were given the chance to mingle, sip on some bubbly, chow on some h’orderves and of course — SHOP! Now, how perfect was that?

Here’s a candid shot of yours truly taken by my sister, Pauline who was also my date that night. Thanks for keeping me company even if I was doing some work related things. Oh and thanks for the super early birthday gift — yipeee!!

Here’s my sister, Pauline (who refused to have her face shown in the photo) wearing a dress from Due. Don’t you just love it? The color is exquisite as well!

Here are some shots of the store. I’m sure you’ll all won’t leave empty handed (especially is chic, clean lines, minimalistic and draped looks are your thing), and you and your wallet will still be good friends after shopping there for the prices are most definitely affordable!

The event went as planned despite the weather that night. Till the next event!! Congratulations, Rhett!!

Cheers!

I want to dedicate this post to thanking Desperate For Bags and MARiS for these new goodies I got! First, here are photos of my new tangerine bag from DFB. I love the fact that it has a definite shape — now my things wont go missing waaaaaaay deep inside my bag and it wont get all messed up inside as well! Another thing is it’s cute outer color PLUS it’s lovely lining (mine is magenta but I didn’t get to take a photo of it, booo). This one’s called the CYRE Bag. Thanks for the bag, Lexa (who btw, is my mums officemate)!! xx

Miss tangerine!! Don’t forget to check out their online store’s site for MORE bags, trust me, it’s totally worth it! Click THIS link to take you there. They have more bags there so click away everyone!!

UP NEXT! It’s time for a fine feathered frenzy. More feather earrings and a clip from MARiS! These come in all sorts of colors and lengths — definitely something you all would need to add to your feather accessory collections. Thanks for the goodies, Mika!! xx

Thank God I have five piercings in total. All 3 fit on one ear! HAHA! For more MARiS accessories, click THIS link to take you to their online shop as well. They have fathers, and more so what are you waiting for?

Stay safe everyone! xo

Get Outta My Way

For the record, I don’t have any sort of mean or negative connotation with regards to my blog title whatsoever. It’s just that the Kylie song Get Outta My Way has been stuck in my head and been playing non-stop for the past how many days and I still can’t get enough of it! Anyway, if you follow my blog you’d notice that this outfit looks quite familiar. Well, maybe if you scroll down you’ll understand. This is what I wore to the shoot I did for Chalk Magazine’s anniversary issue last month..

| Jacket: Coexist | Top: Rio By Danika Navarro | Dress: Topshop | Heels: Andre Chang | Accessories: Chain Necklace (Random from Bangkok), Bangles (From my sister), Feather Earring (MARiS) |

This was my take on the whole “neutral” color pantone look. In a nut shell, did you know I wasn’t supposed to use that jacket for the shoot? They Chalk team wanted to ease off the color black (dun dun duuuuuuun) but I was feeling a bit chilly at the studio. Bianca and Kate saw me and told me to keep in on since it completed the look, booyahh!! Laur and myself were so happy since we both love wearing black (if you haven’t noticed, haha)!

I just want to say THANK YOU to my good friend Lilian Yeung (it was great seeing you after ages!!) for my make up and Jamie Sy for my hair! My look was inspired by one of Kaya Scodelario’s photo shoots, which I loved. Good thing I had the peg in my phone, they got the look spot on!

Here are some BTS shots during the shoot. Thanks again to Lissa for ALL the photos!! It was raining so hard that day and I forgot my cam and umbrella in my car! FML. Thank God my friends all had their cameras with them! HAHA! I’ll be prepared next time — I promise! I loved hanging out with these girls before, during and after the shoot. Good times, and I’m hoping for more of them to come soon!!

Shoe lust!! Gotta love, Laur’s Charlotte Olympia wegdes and if you haven’t noticed, one of my personal favorites — my Andre Chang heels which I bought from Laureen during the bloggers bazaar!

Laureen and myself. The two girls who had trouble preparing what to wear since we didn’t have much neutral stuff in our closets. Thank goodness we found some neutral pieces, cause we wouldn’t be ourselves without wearing a little black would we? Haha!

Till the next!! I hope you all got a copy of the magazine! Happy Sunday! Enjoy Kylie’s Get Outta My Way video and song. It’s such a toe tapper, haha! xo
